'Saffron Nest' is a fresh, contemporary apartment set within an exclusive complex in Benaulim, South Goa which includes a very large pool (and kids pool) Set within a lush tropical garden. The stylish apartment is lovingly furnished with simply designed local hand made sycamore wood furniture, set within fresh white walls and with a fully equipped modern kitchen. Sleeps 4 with 2 breezy bedrooms ensuite bathroom and four poster king size bed. Sofa bed in living room can accommodate an extra 2 guests. Three balconies on the top floor offer fantastic views towards the beach and the lush paddy fields, so you can view both sunrise and sunsets. A quote from a recent guest about the views: "Saffron Nest has the best position in the whole resort, with great views front and back. Just this morning we’ve been watching storks, ibis, egrets, herons and paddy birds in the pond at the front. At the same time there were Brahminy kites, lapwings and various other birds circling above. Spectacular!" John Walsh (regular guest) Accommodation has all mod cons including cable TV, hot water and AC. Benaulim's immaculate quiet beach is nearby and the location is a great base to explore the surrounding areas. There are many great cafes and restaurants on your doorstep, just outside the complex, including fresh fruit and veg plus shopping and 2 local super markets only 5 minutes away. Owners support many local charities and the apartment hosts a photographers gallery of stunning Indian portrait and local scenes. Child friendly too - high chair, bath travel cot, kids pool etc A fantastic unique 'chintz free' apartment you'll love!

This was our first visit to micon coastal paradise which has now become our favourite location in benaulim. The pool is beautiful and the location perfect The apartment is as described on the website and we look forward to returning soon. .

The apartment is in a perfect location for the beach, town and numerous shops and restaurants. Lovely quiet pool. Fantastic, well organised communication from the owners and the house manager, Myra.

We have recently returned from a 3 week stay in Saffron Nest and are already planning for next year. We had a wonderful time and are hoping to return. Our favourite place was sitting on the balcony watching and photographing the wild wild life, with the French doors, front and back, wide open causing a through draught. We know the area very well, as we have been going to Benaulim since 2005 and found the accommodation to be the best we have stayed in. It’s well furnished and cupboards and drawers well stocked. Myra, the apartment manager and her daughter changed the bed linen and towels and cleaned as we requested and were very easy and nice to deal with. We would highly recommend this apartment.

We enjoyed our holiday enormously, as we always do, having stayed there quite a few times now. The apartment is well furnished and spacious, with two good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each morning and evening, we sat on the balconies watching storks, herons, kites, kingfishers and a variety of other species all going about their business - a great way to start the day and an equally great way to see the sun go down. The apartment is on a gated estate with a central swimming pool area, all very well maintained. We particularly enjoy the fact that the estate is quiet and relaxed, with a friendly atmosphere. The shops and restaurants of Benaulim are just a short walk away and the beach is within easy reach. We’ve been going to Goa for a few years now and in this apartment we have found the ideal place to stay.

Stayed at this apartment for nearly Three weeks and enjoyed each day. Apartment conveniently situated for a trip to the Beach and also all the amenities were within walking distance. Variety of Restaurants and Shops were located within 5 Minutes walking from the apartment. The apartment itself is located in a secured and quite location. Recommend a stay here for all. Owner and Lady servicing the apartment are very easy to get on and a source of great information for the Local area. We thank them both for making our stay and Holiday a memorable occasion.

Saffron nest has all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Local people made our stay wonderful by coming over to give us massages etc. Loved the views and beautiful surroundings. We went with my mother who is a returning visitor.

The apartment is clean, safe and light, with wonderful views. Benaulim is a busy, delightful village, close to the beach but not overwhelmed by visitors. Extensive selection of restaurants, cafes and shops. The pool was open (though we didn't use it). Myra (the caretaker) is responsive and can recommend local drivers. We used Edwin, who is reliable, friendly and helpful to a fault. Highly recommended. The beach is a short walk away and the village is well-placed for a wide range of other day trips. A wonderful holiday.

Absolutely love Benaulim and the apartment was in a great location, close to a good selection of restaurants. The apartment is as it is in the pictures, lovely and clean, light and airy. The only negative was the pool was closed for maintenance for the week we were there which was really inconvenient with 2 young children who weren't impressed! The apartment is on a complex which is gated and safe. It was on the 4th floor, accessed via a lift which can temperamental (as my 6 year old found out when he tried to go in it alone so beware!!). The beach was 3/4 of a mile, we walked it and took in breakfast/drink on the way there and back. I would recommend the apartment for couples and families; if the pool was fully functioning.

Just the most perfect experience. If ever one wants to stay in Goa but live in Europe, this property will check all those boxes. Comfy, neat, cozy, equipped, roomy. Kudos to the owners. Good job. We left early morning & by the time we reached th airport we missed the apartment. Highly recommended. Location, view, security, silence, upkeep. Running out of words.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saffron Nest. Benaulim is a beautiful little town and the property is at an excellent location with easy access to shops and restaurants. There is a folder in the property with a lot of details around restaurants, places of interest etc which we found very useful. The apartment itself is very comfortable and well maintained. Shaff is also a great host and very responsive to any queries. Myra (property caretaker) helped us settle well in the property and is very enterprising. We will have no hesitation in going back and staying at Saffron Nest again. Shaff - thank you for a pleasant stay and we look forward to getting in touch with you again when we plan our next trip to Goa.

Saffron Nest is a beautifully appointed apartment, ideally located within easy walk of all amenities; beach, shops, bars/restaurants, etc. This lovely apartment enhanced our stay in wonderful Goa. Shaff and Myra could not have been more helpful. We can't wait to return. Many thanks- 10 out 10
