It’s beautiful. An old Haweli restored with lots of blue (it’s Jodhpur) and many many gorgeous paintings.
The roof top terrace had a great view of the fort and Jodhpur.
It comes at a price though and that is stairs - there’s a lot and they are steep and doorway height. I’m not tall and kept bashing my head. It was a price we were willing to pay, but if you really struggle with stairs then be aware.
It felt a bit dusty in the rooms and I couldn’t work out the switches!
We also had to pay the whole bill in cash which wiped our cash reserves out, so having VISA would have helped.
It wasn’t well known by the tuk tuk drivers either but we made it there with Google Maps on my phone.

Really close to the fort.
Beautiful view from the roof top.
Helpful owner.
Bathroom could have been cleaner.
Lots of mosquitos so we had to buy a mosquito net. Would recommend the owner putting in mosquito nets into all rooms, especially when room is open to outside (window opening high in bathroom).

The character of the building - 400 and something years old, the roof top terrace, and the location in the old town.
The property offers an authentic stay. So if you are ready for basic conditions it is a good choice.
The manager's attitude.
The carpet could have been vacuumed before the stay.
There was no toilet paper in the bathroom and it was quite a hustle to find a supermarket.
The restaurant in the hotel. There are other better choices not so far from the property.
