Nestled in Fairmount Township, this attractive cabin for $185 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Enjoy our secluded cabin that is within 5 minutes of one of PA’s greatest State Parks - Ricketts Glen! This cabin has alot of space for a large group - up to 8! So get your family and friends together and book this secluded cabin today!!!! This getaway is located 2.5 miles from the trail head of the Ricketts Glen State Park Falls Trail - home to 22 amazing waterfalls. The cabin is also in close proximity to Lake Jean - where you can rent a kayak/canoe, go to the sandy beach of the lake, swim, fish, or ice skate! The possibilities are endless! Enjoy the peace of country living or go mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, trail running, or hunting. The cabin is in a very quiet location. The cabin is rustic yet has many modern amenities - air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen (utensils, place settings, glasses, cooking utensils, pots/pans), Wi-Fi, Sling TV, and outdoor fire pit and grill. A child’s high chair and pack and play is available for use - free of charge. This cabin has a large open living space with a loft and 3 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom downstairs. 1 large bedroom and loft upstairs. The maximum occupancy is 8. Indoor fireplace is electric. Linens and Towels provided for an additional fee - upon request. Firewood for the outdoor firepit is not provided but is sold nearby and onsite. Please purchase firewood nearby for the firepit. Due to lantern fly infestations in other parts of PA, we prefer you do not bring firewood from outside the area. Check-in: 4 pm Check-out: 11am When staying between Nov - April some snow accumulation should be anticipated in the area. A FWD, AWD, or 4WD vehicle is best for these conditions - as driveways and roadways may have some snow cover. There is an exterior camera located on the property for security. We encourage all of our guests to purchase travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances and cancellations. 3/15/24 - Trail Advisory: The Falls Trail system is now fully open for the season!

Went to hike Ricketts glen for a couple days and this place is in perfect location, only a few miles from the park. The cabin is nestled back in the woods, surrounded by forest and we had plenty of privacy Place was very clean and had great communication with host . Looking forward to going again

Cute cabin. Secluded yet close to Ricketts Glenn, restaurants and a corner store. Only minor complaint was there are alot of cobwebs in the upstairs bedrooms. Overall a great little cabin. Owner reached out several times to check on us and keep us updated!

My father and friends built this cabin and I have many happy memories from childhood stays there (and so I also have a very biased perspective). The current owners have done a nice job with refreshing the place and I am glad that others can enjoy it.

Very nice cabin. Very clean, quiet secluded setting. Would definitely stay again. Couch was super comfortable. King bed downstairs was the only complaint. Was very hard.

The house is really cute, in a secluded area of woods. Ricketts Glen State park is very close by, so there is a lot to do in the area. Everything was very clean, plenty of space with a loft upstairs, and it had everything you would need during your stay- including good wifi!

It was a great cabin in the middle of nowhere. It had great hiking trails and lots of wildlife. My husband and I had a great weekend!

mid May 2023 Cozy quiet setting. Drove up to unique Lopez and even though I'm familiar with the area, was surprised by the powerful spring at the end of town. Good time was had by all. Enjoy PA's Red Rock.

Great experience and we had the added benefit of a brief snowstorm during our visit, the cabin was the perfect place to be snowed in. The many windows offered an ideal view all weekend. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay!!

The property was clean, Jess was very helpful and quick to reply to messages, the house had fun games and books for our kids (4 and 7 years old) to enjoy and we liked that firewood was available for purchase on site (but we were not able to have a campfire due to the rain). We enjoyed a restful weekend at the house with trips to Knoebels (1 hour away), Ricketts Glen Falls and went mountain biking at Moon Lake nearby. The stay was only made sweeter by a trip to the ice cream stand, nearby, Red Rock Scoop - delicious!

What a perfect cabin for a weekend getaway, minutes from one of the greatest hikes in PA. We were fortunate enough to enjoy this cabin during peak fall foliage. The falls trail 4-mile loop is great, even with kids. This cabin was both close to everything, and private. Very comfortable accommodations for a great price. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was even more wonderful than the pictures. Quiet and relaxing and only a few minutes from ricketts Glen. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay again.
