The apartment is very well located, easy access to the train station and to the historic center. Alessandro was always very responsive and helpful. It is adequately equipped. The shower was good. We stayed in Lucca for six weeks, and in that sense we experienced the apartment to be a little dark. There was only one window in the living room, which we usually had to keep closed because there was construction next door and the workers were right in front of it, and the dust came into the room. Also the mattress was way too soft and not that comfortable. If you stay for only a couple of days these shouldn’t be such a big issue.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Lucca. Excellent location close to city walls and station. I had a very comfortable few nights here and highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay at Alessandro’s apartment. It was perfectly located, clean and comfortable. Alessandro was very helpful with giving local tips and recommendations as well. Would recommend for anyone looking for a great base in Lucca.

Wonderful apartment up the end of Via della Rosa near the walls. Within walking distance to the train station and all of the famous Lucca sights. Alessandro, the host, was very welcoming, even when our train from Genoa was 150 minutes late arriving. The shower and exhaust fan were the best we have had during our 10 weeks travelling. Would love to return in winter if Australia wasn't so far away.
