Stay in the heart of Berlin in this bright apartment on the top residential floor of the building, with a private terrace facing the Checkpoint Charlie area.
The apartment is located in Berlin-Mitte, just steps from Checkpoint Charlie and Friedrichstrasse. Checkpoint Charlie and Friedrichstrasse are about a 1-minute walk away, while the Checkpoint Charlie U-Bahn station is only a few minutes on foot. Gendarmenmarkt and Potsdamer Platz are also within walking distance.
Large windows bring plenty of natural light into the apartment. From the private terrace, you can look towards Checkpoint Charlie and across the rooftops of central Berlin.
The apartment has a double bedroom, a living area with a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a marble bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower.

The apartment is in a perfect location for seeing all the sites. The kitchen was well stocked; dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, etc. the balcony was a nice place to have breakfast or a drink before heading out. Whatever issues you may have read in other reviews about the shower or the lock have been fixed. We had no issues with either. We’d stay again if we come back to Berlin.

Very professional management. Adam met us, and showed us how to get in the apartment and showed us where everything was. Apartment was nice and clean. The washer was really great to have. Great location. We would definitely stay there again.

The house was at the best location it could be. I was visiting with my parents and I was is a wheelchair user, so it was important that the flat was as accessible as possible. She can do some steps, so the step going in the shower was not a problem, but the flat was small and cozy, so it didn't bother us. The elevator closer to the flat was not working, but thankfully another elevator around the block was working, so we could get in the flat. The first two days the heating in the bedroom was also not working, so it was rather cold at night, but Alessandra got us a movable heating fan the following day, until the handyman could come and fix the heating. When it was fixed, the heating was working super well and the flat got very warm. Thanks for the hospitality Alessandra!

This rental was very disappointing. From the description “panoramic penthouse” and the price I expected something nicer and cleaner. It was not dirty but not sparkling clean. The place looked shabby and run- down. I would not recommend.
