Beautiful contemporary home on East side of Seneca Lake provides beautiful sunset views and peaceful/serene surroundings. 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath with Central Air sleeps 15 comfortably. Situated on approximately one-half acre, has large front yard and back deck with propane gas grill, firepit, and picnic area. Main living area boasts hardwood floors and floor-to-ceiling windows for wonderful views of Seneca Lake, along with a remote-controlled gas fireplace and big screen TV for relaxing evenings indoors. First floor master suite with private bath features large soaking tub with TV and separate shower. Laundry and half-bath also on first floor. 2nd bedroom on second floor has its own ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet - sleeps 3. 3rd bedroom on second floor has a queen size, and a full size and twin bunk bed - sleeps 5. 4th bedroom on second floor features vaulted ceilings and hard wood floors, and can be used as a separate den with a love seat and 42 inch TV - also sleeps 5. 3rd Full bathroom on second floor has large walk-in shower. The house is very nice and the beds are comfortable. I would recommend it--with a few caveats. The house has very few basics, like sugar, coffee etc. We had to buy a full bag of sugar for a two night stay, for example. Also, the dock and the area right on the lake (the house is across the road from the lake, but has its own dock) was damaged by high water and the stairs leading down were covered in spider webs and didn't seem very steady. As we chose the house hoping to sit by the lake, this was disappointing. Also the door locking situation was very confusing and specific printed directions would have been helpful. The owner responded quickly though, calling us on the phone to help when we could not figure it out. In the end, we discovered that the front door is always locked, but it's hard to tell because it opens whenever you open it from inside. Plus the electronic lock does not operate like a normal deadbolt and the keypad is not used for guests. All in all a good stay but a few things could be fixed for a perfect stay.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my sister’s 40th birthday here! We were able to comfortably sleep 15 people for one of our nights here. They had plenty of parking, though it was a bit confusing which driveways were part of the property. Unfortunately the dock access was limited due to water levels, but we still enjoyed our stay tremendously. The location is perfect, with close proximity to wineries, Pat’s pizzeria (excellent btw), and stores nearby to grab last minute items we forgot. While still offering private lakefront access across the street.

Overall a good experience as some of us had stayed at the property before and enjoyed it. The location and view is wonderful and the house felt clean. Just a few things this time made the house feel not quite ready for guests, such as dead batteries in TV remotes and no handsoap in one of the upstairs bathrooms (we eventually found some soap under the kitchen sink on the main floor). On our last night (this is in late October, so quite chilly out), the heat went out. There were 8 of us staying in the house and only a couple had hot water for showers on the last morning while getting ready to leave the very cold house. We believe this to be because they ran out of gas. The owner was responsive to messaging but nothing could really be done in time about the gas since it was on our last day
