Situated in Dam Neck, this lovely house for $1,096 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Beautiful house with back yard oasis near the highly desirable Croatan Beach. About a block from the beach - walk past four houses to the beach access. Huge open concept kitchen with quartz countertop island. Features kitchen french doors to balcony porch for dining al fresco. Private sun deck and hot tub for 4 in back yard. Large living room with flatscreen tv and wet bar for cozy evenings after the beach. Spacious master with king bed and ensuite bathroom featuring soaker tub. Second master on ground floor with step-in shower. The house is four stories tall, has five bedrooms, and sleeps up to 15 people. On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms - the ground floor master bedroom has a queen bed and a double bed as well as a private 3/4 bathroom; the other ground floor bedroom has two double beds. The second floor is the main living area with kitchen, dining room, living room. The third floor has a large master suite with king bed and ensuite bathroom with a soaker tub, step-in shower, and double vanity sink. Also on the third floor is a small bedroom (8'x12') with a twin bed that has a pull-out twin trundle. Finally, there is a fourth floor with a full size bedroom and a bathroom with shower. There are 4.5 bathrooms. In addition to the two private bathrooms that are in the master bedrooms, there is a full bathroom on the ground level, a bathroom with a shower on the fourth floor, and a half bath on the second floor where the kitchen and living room are. This home was beautifully remodeled. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. The laundry room has a large washer and dryer. The bathrooms are updated with granite countertops, new lights, new fixtures. The house also has multiple decks to enjoy the outdoors - a balcony in the front off the living room, a balcony in the back off the kitchen, and a sun-lounging deck in the backyard updated with a hot tub, chairs, and gas grill. You will love the location. Croatan is an upscale, residential neighborhood. It has some vacation homes for rent, but there are also many residents who make this their permanent home. This makes Croatan a quieter vacation spot than the resort strip. The beach itself is also less crowded than the resort strip. And surfers love Croatan because there are two designated surfing areas. There are several nice restaurants to choose from at nearby Rudee Inlet and by virtue of being on this end of the beach, you're also closer to the Virginia Marine Science Museum and Ocean Breeze Water Park. There's more to your week than the beach!! Nearby destinations: Virginia Aquarium, Charter Fishing, Boardwalk, Park, Golf, Water Slides, Go Karting and Busch Gardens (1 hour away)

The place was exactly what we needed for a group of 12 adults. Celebrated mom-grandma 95th Birthday. Betsy was awesome. Responded quickly with any questions that we had. Would highly recommend staying here. Will use again. Bed are comfortable. Enough bathrooms.

Our family had a great time at Croatan Beach House. The floor plan was really ideal for our family, lots of space to stretch. The Kitchen was well supplied, two coffee makers made our wake-up the best! Betsy did an excellent job communicating with us on any issues (Cox cable was doing some work outside). We really enjoyed the location and the ability to be close to the water. We are looking forward to returning next year! Craig/Connie

Close to beach and nearby attractions. House looks attractive from afar but needed more TLC in many spots. Porches needed replacing, wood rotting and loose. Some smaller bedrooms needed newer mattresses and showers with better temperature control. Gas grill was all rusted and cover ripped…unusable. Owner was very responsive throughout stay with issues that could be resolved while we were there..such as “green” water in hot tub (we couldn’t use it for 3 days before it was cleaned).

The house was beyond our expectations. The response time was great. We were here for a cheerleadering competition and I thought that Betsy was amazing to personally text me and say good luck today. Would definitely stay again.

We spent Christmas at Croatian Beach while visiting relatives in Virginia Beach. The house was big enough for two families to share, while still providing space for all 6 of us to gather. The beach was two short blocks away. The house was clean and comfortable. We had one question and the owner responded very quickly, even on Hristmas Day! It was a great trip.

The location was perfect- minutes from the south end of the Boardwalk. We loved being 5 minutes from a lifeguarded beach. The neighborhood was safe and beautiful. Check in was very easy and the property manager was very responsive to our needs. So why did I give an overall rating of 4 instead of 5? The furnishing are tired. It did not effect our good time, but for the cost, I would have hoped for better. With

The house was spacious and close to the beach but it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival. we discovered dead cockroaches on various areas of the house and the linens needed to be washed...so we washed them prior to use. This is unacceptable given the amount of money paid to rent this property.
