About this condo rental
Nestled in Folly Beach, this lovely condo for $596 per night is a great option for your next break. Stay @ The Swan Dive! The City of Folly Beach has scheduled beach renourishment for this spring. The project will start at the West end of the island at the county park progressing towards the pier in blocks. The completion is slated for August. While this is welcomed news given the recent erosion from storms and high tides, we realize the potential for disruption based on the project’s timing. We are committed to ensuring your vacation experience remains enjoyable. While most of the beach will remain publicly accessible during the construction, there is a possibility that certain sections of the beach, typically about 500 feet at a time, may be temporarily closed off. The active work area moves every 5 to 7 days on average. Due to so many external factors, we have no way to predict an accurate timeline for when the project will be at any given location. However, if we anticipate in advance that the project may affect your stay, we will be reaching out to you. In the small chance the project directly affects your beachfront vacation, we will work closely with you to discuss options. **According to current pacing and projections of the renourishment project, we expect the project to be completed at Chas. Oceanfront Villas by mid June, barring any unexpected delays. Charleston Oceanfront Villas is perhaps the best location on Folly Beach, and "The Swan Dive" has everything you need for the perfect luxury vacation. Located directly on the front beach, just a block from the Folly Beach Fishing Pier and the culinary and social hub of Center Street, guests of the Swan Dive will enjoy stunning sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean and a cool sea breezes all afternoon. This recently updated property is a true gem within Charleston Oceanfront Villas. The Oceanfront Villas also feature 2 oceanfront pools that are open seasonally each year from April 1- October 31st! The owners have created a light and airy oceanside oasis with modern but comfortable furniture and decor that perfectly delivers the upscale beach vibe not often seen on Folly. With four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, this property is perfect for a family vacation or a beach getaway with friends. The Swan Dive comes well equipped with HD cable, high-speed internet, and a smart TV to entertain the whole family after a long day on the beach. The recently updated kitchen is the perfect spot to cook some fresh South Carolina seafood or mix a cocktail to enjoy from the balcony. With a fully stocked arsenal of cookware and modern appliances, you can enjoy a gourmet cooking experience with a perfect view of Folly Beach. In addition to secured gated off-street parking, Charleston Oceanfront Villas offers guests a private beach access and walkway, two generous swimming pools, chaise lounge chairs on the sunny pool deck, and outdoor showers for a quick rinse before returning to your breezy balcony. Conveniently located next to some of the best restaurants on the island, you also just step away from surf lessons, jet ski rentals, kayak tours, and paddleboarding on the Folly River. This updated beach paradise is the perfect pad for your next Folly Beach getaway. Bedroom 1 - Master Bed - King bed, private bath and HD Smart Cable TV Bedroom 2 - Ensuite Bedroom - Queen bed, private bath Bedroom 3 - Entry hall bedroom - Queen bed, shared Jack and Jill bath Bedroom 4 - Hall bedroom - Two twin bunks, shared Jack and Jill bath, Smart TV with Netflix, Hulu and other apps. Living Room- Large Smart HD Cable TV. Charleston Oceanfront Villas is a gated oceanfront complex located steps from the shops and restaurants of Folly Beach. These villas feature 2 oceanfront pools, 2 elevators, private covered parking, and amazing views. The pools at the Oceanfront Villas are open seasonally from April 1 - October 31st, weather permitting. The temperature of the pools is not controlled, and will largely depend on the outside weather conditions. Building management is responsible for the upkeep of the pools and elevators on the property. They may close either of these amenities for routine maintenance or cleaning as and when required. Parking is limited to two spaces per villa and passes are complimentary. If additional parking is desired, it is at the discretion of the building management and based on availability. If additional parking passes are available, guests may elect to purchase them, but the cost can range up to $100 per pass. We had the most amazing long weekend on Folly Beach in this condo! It was beautiful, and very specious. The location is so perfect right on the water. We drove into Charleston several times for dinner and nightlife, and the drive isn’t bad at all! Loved having the best of both worlds with the beach so close to the beautiful city. Highly recommend this condo!

Very nice condo as advertised. Incredible view. Excellent location. Our only problem was that we had a master bed with a giant wet spot in the middle of it. I knew there was nothing to be done so we just kind of covered it over and lived with it, but it was upsetting to my wife

Whole property was very well maintained and perfectly located, views were amazing. The unit was beautiful, comfortable and well laid out for multiple families with 3 separate full baths. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Property manager was enthusiastic (building excitement for out visit) and very responsive. Loved our stay and hope to return!

Outside was being painted, so there was some heavy equipment around, but great sign that they are keeping the property in good shape. Interior of condo was very nice, recently painted and very clean!

Property was perfectly situated on the beach with a gorgeous view. Spacious enough for the 8 of us who went. Easy walking distance to everything in Folly Beach. Couch inside and out on the balcony need updating. Very worn. Mold issue behind the toilet in the king bed bathroom and above the shower upon entry that needs to be remedied. Otherwise, great space for a getaway

The property is located directly on the water and provided easy access to downtown Folly Beach by foot. The unit itself is spacious and has a nice layout. Cleanliness of the overall building (halls, elevator, corridors) and the unit could be improved, but all in all we had a great time.

Our week in Folly Beach started smoothly with an easy check in and beach gear already at our villa. Easy parking for our vehicles, and convenient elevator. Lots of good dining within walking distance and grocery stores not too far. The villa was bright and pleasant and the balcony was a real plus. Plenty of room for the 6 adults and 3 kids, 5 and under. One suggestion, would be to have a few hangars in the closets. I could see returning. Folly Beach itself is close to Charleston and many of the things we wanted to do.

We rented for 4 nights over Easter while visiting my daughter that’s a freshman at C of C. We had 10 people with my extended family. The condo was very clean, nicely decorated and slept 10 comfortably. I would highly recommend it.

My wife and I and our two teenage boys spent a week in this Folly Beach condo during the first week in April. The condo was great and we're happy that we chose it. The location is perfect--right on the beach and less than 1/4 mile to Center St and all the restaurants and shops. The view of the Atlantic from the unit was amazing--it's so close to the ocean that from inside the unit, it felt like we were on the ocean. The unit is spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen is small but has all the necessities. The living room is very comfortable and watching movies in the evening was a great end to the day. The only reason I gave the property less than 5 stars is because the unit needs a fresh coat of paint. With a fresh coat of paint, this is a 5 star property and we would certainly choose it again for a Folly Beach location.

This condo is in a great location with absolutely beautiful ocean/beach views. As such, access to these natural wonders is easy and if you don't want to walk the beach, you can still enjoy it from the comfort of the condo's spacious balcony. Inside, the place is bright, roomy, and clean. Loved how comfortable the beds were and the linens/towels were in good shape, too. The only negative is cosmetic: the unit could use a fresh coat of paint throughout, and some of the cabinets/drawers are showing signs of extensive wear (but nothing was broken and all appliances worked as expected). Folly Beach is a chill town and you're about a 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston. Summing up, we would stay here again and had a wonderful time!

The only complaint I have is the back patio door handle was only half attached when we arrived. You can tell it had been rescrewed over and over. The door is so heavy I understand how it could break, but it also is nice so the air condition stays in and the elements stay out. We unfortunately broke the handle completely. I think sand may be in the sliding track which adds pressure to opening and closing. The actual sheets and bedding are VERY clean and the view is priceless. Property stayed in touch with us by texting reminders about check in and check out.

The property was amazing. Perfect location to walk anywhere we needed to go on Folly beach and a quick 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston. I did mess up entering the code in the door and the property management helped me right away! I also could not find the fob to enter the pool area and they were all SO nice and pointed out it was hanging by the door (long travel day).
We did buy some lawn chairs (off season so not many beach options around) and left them so I hope you use them!! The pool area was so nice as well. So if you want to lounge at the pool there is plenty of comfy furniture already there.
My favorite was all the furniture on the balcony. We spent so much time watching dolphins and lounging out there. So great. Also, I know it’s not for everyone, but really great to have the Roku there for rainy lazy days. Felt so relaxed and at home.

Condo was perfect for a family. Clean and neat and modern. Living room furniture was comfortable but clearly used. However, it made having children (ages 9,8,6) easy. No expensive tables or art objects to be worried about damaging.
Kitchen was well appointed complete with Kerrigan. Bring dish cloths and dish towels, however, as they are not included with linen supply.

We had a wonderful vacation. We’re definitely coming back next year. My only suggestion…they need a broom and dustpan. Being a neat freak and wanting to keep the sand on the beach and not in the condo. It would help if we could sweep the sand away at the front door. Overall the place was great!
