About this house rental
Villa with pool and large garden, just 1 minute walk from the lake and Villa Melzi. The house has for each bedroom its own bathroom with shower and toilets (floors 1 and 2). Inside the villa (floor level -1), stays my collaborator Sumedha, who takes care of the house, garden and can prepare breakfast/dinner on request, he will always be available for anything.

Very central location. Great place for our group of 3 couples. Everything available in the villa like drip coffee, condiments, ice. Great pool and sun lounges. Lots of stairs to upper bedrooms. Showers very small on higher upstairs level. Lots of traffic from morning to evening. Good local cafes and restaurants. It was a bit unclear what the caretakers role was, but he did a good breakfast. Suggest you get more clarification about his attendance times. EG, Sometimes he was using the washer/dryer when we needed it. BBQ wasn’t ready for use - dirty and no gas. We let the caretaker know but it didn’t get refilled during our visit. Overall a lovely stay. Great outside entertaining areas. Fabulous for groups and friends!

We traveled to Bellagio with our family of 8. The Villa was just as described with a beautiful garden and pool. It was a short walk down the hill into town with all the retail and restaurants. There is access to the lake below next to the Villa Melzi, which is a historic Villa that has beautiful gardens and historic buildings to tour. Our Villa caretaker, Sumedha, was wonderful. He prepared breakfast for us everyday. We loved the the delicious rice and salsa he made with fruit and veggies and the spicy omelets. He also made dinner for us two nights which were delicious, especially his curry. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely visit and stay here again. Ciao!!

The villa was a great location to town, just up a long hill. The history of the villa was fascinating. But the inside could use some refreshing. The caretaker, Sumedha, was extremely helpful and responsive to our transportation needs. We didn't use the pool because the weather didn't cooperate, but it was very nice. The yard and pool would make a great get away in the heat of the summer!
