Nestled in Grindelwald, this attractive condo for $162 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. The Chalet Barbara is located barely 250m above the village center / Grindelwald station. Our cozy 2 bedroom apartment is on the ground floor on the right side with terrace and large lawn outdoor court. By elevated position with no through traffic, you can enjoy a unique and absolute quiet panorama of Eiger, Wetterhorn and Mettenberg. In winter the valley station of the ski lift is only 40m Bodmi next to the house. This takes you to the children's and Skischulparadies Bodmi or directly via Talpiste to the gondola Grindelwald-First. The ski area of Kleine Scheidegg - Männlichen can be reached within easy and without changing the train station in the village center. The apartment in the chalet-style: By wardrobe takes you into the kitchen which has been recreated and the normal standard including dishwasher, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge freezer and many more features. Next, all rooms have a digital (self) adjustable floor heating, flat screen TV with satellite reception, radio-CD player, etc. Available is also a storage room for luggage set and a ski / bike room. The kitchen is open to the living area so that there is enough space. In also performed with wood bedroom the beds are either side by side or separately available. Available are also bath towels for the bathroom and for the kitchen. Ask for; we will give you very much information if anything is unclear or you want more information!

Great place to stay. Beautiful views and all amenities. Host was always there if needed. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

The chalet was very good value and spotlessly clean. It had all of the equipment we needed for our stay. The host Barbara couldn’t have been more helpful. She gave us a lift from the train station at the start of our stay which was great. Our only reservation was that the Chalet was up a very steep slope from the village. However Barbara told us about the local guest bus which meant we never had to struggle up the slope!

excellent location and beautiful/amazing views of the alps! Train and bus stations, Coop store and restaurants are all walking distance. Going down the street was easy but going up is only for the physically fit. The kitchen was fully equipped and remodeled. As well as the bathroom. Barbara the host, was very accommodating and ensured we have everything we need. I would strongly recommend this chalet to my friends/families and be back here again.

We were very happy to stay one week in Chalet Barbara. The appartment is comfortable, clean and in a quiet place not far from the center of the village (5 minutes down, 10 minutes up). Wonderful view from the living room ! As a bonus, you get a large sun terrace with a ‘postcard view’ on the Eiger, Kleine Scheidegg and Männlichen. The kitchen is new and well equipped. The bathroom is adequate. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who were always ready to answer our questions. They even brought us back to the station when we left. There is a lot of documentation about Grindelwald in the appartment, which is quite helpful to plan your activities. If you need more info, the available wifi connection is of good quality. Many thanks to Barbara and Andreas for giving us the opportunity to spend a very nice time in Grindelwald.
