About this house rental
This 180 square meters apartment is located just 5 minutes walking from downtown Taormina. It has two double bedrooms, one of them includes a bathroom and a dressing room, another bathroom, a large living room with the sea view, with a fireplace and a balcony with hidromassage mini-pool with adjustable temperature, a kitchen, a fitted internal terrace. The house is equipped with air conditioning, boiler for heating and a free private car parking.

The apartment was sparkling clean, very spacious, beautifully decorated, and the views up the coast and over to Calabria are amazing. Our host, Massimo, met us near the apartment and drove our car up to the parking spot (and drove it out again when we left) as it is quite a steep narrow road with sharp turns and a small parking spot. The car stayed parked for the entirety of our stay. Massimo was very responsive to any questions and gave good instructions about staying in the apartment. All of Taormina is built on a steep hill and this apartment takes climbing to reach; the stairs are steep and long, so I would not recommend it to anyone with mobility or stamina issues. That said, it is not hard to walk down to all the sights and attractions of Taormina and you can be in the center of town within 10-15 minutes (it takes longer to get back up the hill!).

Beautiful view from the large patio. Very large apartment with lots of room. Massimo was a great host. He met us at the bottom of the hill and helped us drive the drive to location for the first time which was very helpful. It's close to the town center so you can walk to visit the key sites. Like most things in this town you do have to walk up steep hill. There is a grocery store close to the apartment which we used several times. We appreciated having a washing machine for laundry. We did enjoy the spa one evening after long day of walking and sore legs.

Fantastic experience with Massimo and a beautiful apartment. The support to find that was generously offered was required and the hill is indeed a climb. The location however is a part of what makes it special, and it is.

The owner is a fantastic help, a great communicator, and an outstanding host. The property was incredibly clean, comfortable, and amazingly quiet. A 4-minute walk downhill puts one right in the heart of the action of central Taormina. I recommend the property to all, and we will certainly stay again.
