We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful and well-appointed villa close to the beach. The kitchen is stocked with the needed essentials to prepare meals and the living/sitting room has an open feel that is perfect for families to socialize. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The layout and furnishings of the property are very satisfactory. It was very disappointing that despite our phone call on the first evening, we were not able to use the oven during the entire stay. Spare bath towels and bar soap would have been welcome.

Over the Moon was as advertised and with the exception of the weather we had a fabulous stay. Furnishings were top notch and comfortable. Loved sitting in living room watching an alligator gliding across the pond.

Property was just as advertised. The finished family room (as opposed to the other units' screened in porches) was key. We spent most of our time in this area of the home and it greatly enhanced the experience. Much closer to the beach than we thought. The communication with the owners was great. This was maybe our 4th time visiting Kiawah and this by far was the most fresh feeling place we have stayed. The location was really wonderful for biking to the beach (2 great boardwalk options) or to The Sanctuary or for breakfast at Night Heron. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Over The Moon was a great place! We really enjoyed our stay there. Steven and Tessa were great hosts! They were very resourceful and very accommodating. The place was very clean and neat. The location was even better... It was about a 10 min walk to the beach, 5 min walk to the tennis courts and 2 min walk to the Osprey Golf course. We would definitely stay here again!

Over the Moon was extremely clean and wonderfully maintained. The drawers, kitchen equipment and laundry areas were even super neat and tidy. The use of space and furniture chosen to maximize the space was perfect and all the finishes are updated and new. We hope to return sometime soon.

We were in town for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay at this property. The space was the perfect size, and it was great to each have our own bathroom. Hosts were accommodating and communicative. Check-in/out was easy. The kitchen was well-stocked with tools/accessories, though it did not have basics like salt/pepper/olive oil, which would have been nice for the bit of cooking we did. It was otherwise a great stay with quick beach access. Highly recommend!

Great location - close to the beach, tennis & golf. The condo was perfect for our 2 couple party … with the extra bedroom to store our golf clubs. The sitting area was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Large alligator sighting on the walk to the beach absolutely thrilled these Oregonians. This name is Wally, BTW!

Wonderful getaway for our family (3 kids ages 10,15,18) to unwind, slow down and enjoy nature. The hosts were a delight to work with from reserving, to check in, to check out, everything was easy and communication was fast and friendly.
The condo is beautifully furnished and stocked with everything you need (from comfy blankets to curl up and read a book, board games for family game night, kitchen utensils for everything and the little things like garbage bags, dawn, laundry detergent and nice kitchen towels). The beds are very comfortable and ceiling fans in every room make for perfect sleeping conditions.
We rented bikes and loved the easy access to the beach and numerous wildlife encounters throughout our stay. We rambled along the trails, ate dinner at the Sanctuary, and just enjoyed the downtime the comfort and beauty Over The Moon provides.
Highly recommend for anyone staying in Kiawah Island.

This was easily one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. It was an easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach and the Sanctuary building near by, which made it perfect when storms rolled through. The coded lock system was great so we didn’t have to constantly be passing keys around our group, people could come and go as needed. When storms came through during our beach time, we were able to make the best of it and make some tacos in the kitchen and played board games to ride it out; best part is we got to watch the lightening through the gorgeous bay windows.

Spent the weekend with some girlfriends at Over the Moon. It was the perfect place to stay. Recently renovated, perfectly decorated, and very clean - best yet just a short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend!
