Guests of Riverhouse are welcome to enjoy the Inlet Cove community amenities (subject to seasonal operating times) -- including the community pool, kiddie pool, pavilion, sunset viewing deck and boat dock. Best of all, Riverhouse is a 10 minute walk away from the pristine Kiawah Island beach on a trail through a beautiful maritime forest. Riverhouse is a beautiful property. Updated kitchen and baths. Amazing decor for a rental property. Layout is perfect. Owners suite on one side.. 2 other beds and joint bath on other. Central living space had ample seating for us all! Property manager was reachable and immediately responsive!!

This is a terrific home in a great location in the Inlet Cove section of the Island. Easy drive to Freshfields and a short walk or bike ride to the beach. The screened porch was perfect for dining as well as a great place to relax during the day. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog. Plenty of room for all of us.

We needed a few days away and this house was perfect for our needs. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a walk to the nearby public beach and access to other beaches on the island. The home is located a quick drive from shopping and dining choices. We were happy with our stay!

We had a fantastic stay for the Kiawah Marathon. This home is in a perfect location to walk (avoid the road closures) for race day and only a short walk to the dock and water. Everything was clean and well organized, will stay again!

We come to Kiawah every year and this is one of the nicest properties we have rented. Lovely, well-kept property. Super comfortable beds. The only negative was the ceiling fan in one bedroom was so noisy that it couldn’t be used. Not really a deal breaker. Would definitely rent this property again.

This was our first stay on Kiawah Island, and Riverhouse was a perfect location. We used the community pool and rode our bikes 5 min to the beach. It was perfect for our kids and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the proximity to a Harris Teeter and multiple restaurant options.

We love the Itrip team and nothing wrong with the house- it’s just very dark inside. Home never gets natural light. Kitchen lacks enough dining utensils. And no CURTAINS! Get ready to live in a fish bowl when the lights are on- which is all the time haha.

Our family enjoys Inlet Cove and has stayed in various cottages over the years. We had never used iTrip Vacations and were impressed with the level of service.
This house is pretty - however, it lacks function.
No window coverings in the bathrooms. No dresser in the master or double full. The closets don’t have user friendly shelving. The washer and drier set has about one-third the capacity of a standard set. There are about 3 dozen wine glasses - yet only 6 sets of flatware and 8 coffee mugs. The Roku TV in the guest king does not connect to the internet (apparently this is a known issue).
Hopefully the owners will invest in furnishing/appliances that make it more functional for active families.
Huge potential but definitely a miss for us.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay! The house was clean and spacious, we loved the pool and being so close to the beach. Small bumps with some technical issues but they were resolved very quickly. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Riverhouse! I really appreciated the texting feature with the property manager - if I had a question there was always a quick response, such a huge help! Beds were comfy and the location was nice with a quick bike ride to the beach and walk to the pool and easy access to the grocery store.

This property was a wonderful getaway for our young family and grandparents for the 4th of July weekend. Sitting on the back screen porch tucked in the trees but with a river view was delightful, and being walking distance to both the pool and beach was fantastic! The property management team was very responsive, and we highly recommend Baby’s Away crib/beach gear rental that was recommended to us by the property management team. The only hiccup was the washing machine being broken, but a new one was being installed after we left so it shouldn’t affect future renters.

The place is located in a great location! Close to the store and beach access, the only 2 things you might need. Everyone was very comfortable and enjoyed the stay. Plus of having a community pool close by. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time. We would like to come back and would love to have one right on the river. Only problems were the clothes washer did not work. A big problem for renters with little kids. Fortunately, our kids are big. Also, we could not get the Kuerig to work. And last, the television. No local networks available. No need, etc.

It is such a comfy home away from home. Quick response to any questions asked!! We loved the location. Perfect for walks, the beach, fishing, sunsets at the dock….and alligators! We used the screened in porch the most. Squirrels, a raccoon and a pileated woodpecker would entertain us. So peaceful. My Cadet was able to get caught up on sleep too.
