The view is like few others in the magical city of New Orleans. Located in a fabulous neighborhood with yummy restaurants and bars.

Liked the room not loved, had issues with the pull out sofa, and need blinds for the dining room, bigger soaps and shampoo and condition maybe bottles. Master shower is amazing Loved the dog run very spacious and advertise the bbq grills and pool more we didn't know there was one or we would have brought our suits, and maybe add a hot tub as well. But all around very good

The condo itself is beautiful, is safe and secure. However like other reviewers, we arrived to a place that had not been cleaned. It had laundry in the washer/dryer. The washrooms were filthy - used shampoo bottles, soap and washcloths in the showers. There were food stains in the kitchen; on the counters, cupboards and in the fridge. The floors were awful - dust and pet hair. It truly looked like it had not been swept for quite some time. We arrived later at night after a long travel day. I had to clean and do laundry before bed and then again early the next day. It was gross. We had been sent the wrong codes to enter the parking garage and the unit - one call to Vacasa customer service remedied that. As others have reported, Vacasa was available and apologetic but really lack in customer service. We booked this place in March (for August stay) and it seems from reading other reviews in the past few months, this cleaning issue is regular. Something has gone badly since we booked - reviews were fine then! My sense is Vacasa has been accustomed to this property being missed for cleaning. They have said they will refund our cleaning fee. Given the mess we arrived to, there should be more offered. This error is worth more than $150. Until Vacasa gets its stuff together, I would suggest booking a place that is not managed by them. There are many options available in New Orleans - and it is a beautiful city.

We had a group of 4 ladies in town for Essence festival. Hoping to escape the relentless heat, we checked into our rental only to be faced with the a/c not working properly. We had a breezy internal temp of 87 degrees. We contacted Vacasa text service on multiple occasions only to be told "sorry" each and every time. We finally got hold of someone local and she attempted to resolve the problem. The follow-up was horrible as we had to continuously reach out to them for any updates. We asked to be transferred to another rental unit but were infomed the other unit also had a/c issues. We asked for fans and we were eventually given 1. This was completely unacceptable and took a lot away from our experience. I can not say with confidence that i would ever book with Vacasa again.

We booked this penthouse for a long weekend, it has safe, secure parking for one vehicle and secure access to the building from the sidewalk. The neighborhood is quiet and seemed safe during the day. We loved the pool and the penthouse was spacious and well appointed, we found it very comfortable.
We had three issues: entry codes did not work the first day, Vacasa was very quick to correct this; the a/c was not working so we opted to end our trip early because it was too hot and Vacasa could not get someone there on the weekend; the smoke detector got went off every time we tried to cook so that was annoying.

The apt was great. Vacasa not so much/ Bathrooms were dirty as were some other surfaces. Entry to the apt was a very big issue. Communication was a robot not a person. A lot of I'm sorry and no action.

Called the number for customer service and was given the run around. Was told a supervisor would call me to rectify the situation, then after 2 hours waiting, told it was after hours and that it would be the next day before we would hear back. After finally getting a return call the next day from the property manager, John, we were told we would be getting a refund for the cleaning fee and our first nights stay. He seemed to be concerned about this and was apologetic. This was on 12/8. Here we are one 1/6 and still no refund. Nothing but excuses as to where the refund is. First, it had been issued, then it was hung up in the system due to the holidays. I have pictures of our text conversation. My last inquiry of my refund status (yesterday) has been left unanswered. I was patient and didn’t want to leave this review hoping John would
hold up his end and make this situation right. He did not. I do not recommend you stay here. I will never use Vacasa again. Customer service down to property manager has been a total disappointment.

This penthouse was absolutely perfect! The location is great, only about a 5-10 minute Uber ride to the French Quarter, French Market and Frenchman Street. There are a number of great places to eat that are walkable in the Bywater/Marigny neighborhood. The condo itself is immaculate, well-appointed and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need: pots and pans, multiple coffee makers, new appliances, etc. Both the living room and the master bedroom have balconies with gorgeous views of the city and the river. All rooms have TVs. We were there during a cold spell, so we were very grateful for the central heating and the little portable fireplace in the living room. An excellent place to stay all around!

My wife and I deeply enjoyed our dinners on the patio, soaking in the quiet sounds of the hip Bywater neighborhood before wandering out to the many local watering holes nearby for live music and good conversation. The endless party that is Bourbon Street has it's appeal, but we're surely coming back to this exact spot next time we visit New Orleans.
