The water from the well was drinkable and delicious! Jonathan and Meredith were incredibly welcoming, kind and personable. The shared kitchen was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed to cook daily meals. After preparing our meals, we were able to sit outside on the top floor’s patio while watching the waves and enjoying the hilltop breeze. We did not want to leave. The rooms were cozy, cute and comfortable and we felt very much at home at Surf Venao.

The Lodge is such a beautiful place.... overlooking the bay of Playa Venao with a stunning view from the balcony. We really regretted not having more time there! Our room war very cozy and clean, the house beautiful and with the woods behind it feels close to nature. You can hear the sound of the waves at all times... Jonathan was very kind and made us feel at home. We will definitely come back!

The property has an outstanding location, within walking distance of the beach, yet tucked away in a peaceful setting where you can only hear birds chirping and ocean waves. The rooms and facilities are super clean and well maintained, and the hosts are amazing. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature with your family or friends.
