Hugo est un propriétaire particulièrement charmant. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié son accueil et l attention portée. L endroit est atypique et très calme.. on se croirait dans la campagne toscane au milieu des vignes.
La propreté des locaux pourrait être améliorée : joints de douche jaune /orange moisissures ? Plinthes poussiéreuses, desserte de la machine à café,… un ménage de type « printemps » avant réouverture serait le bienvenu..

The chateau sits on a hill with a stunning view of the surrounding area and vineyards. We were able to taste wine from the chateau and watch the sun setting to the sound of crickets. It was wonderful to be in the middle of nature with occasional deer, an owl and lizards for company. The chateau was also a perfect base for visiting the local bastide towns, Garonne river and wine tasting.
Hugo was a friendly and kind host who provided a good breakfast every day. Having access to a kitchen with a fridge, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, cutlery and crockery throughout the week was brilliant.
We had a wonderful week staying at Chateau Fauchey.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, but we could have done with another comfortable chair as there was only one. The weather was very hot when we were there, but a fan had been provided in the room. There were also spiders and mosquitoes in the room which is inevitable when you are in the countryside.

Portion congrue et renouvelée à l'identique chaque matin donc un peu rengaine, soit : 1/4 baguette, 2 micro croissants, 1 micro pain au chocolat, 1 tranche de jambon cuit, 1 carré de fromage fondu et le même yaourt nature sucré ! Au bout de 3 jours, on en a assez !
Un beau château appartenant à des chinois mais qui ont oublié d'y faire de l'entretien.
On a dormi sur des coussins et non des taies d'oreiller ; il n'y avait pas de drap du dessus sur le lit recouvrant la couette (Et pas de possibilité d'en avoir) : on a donc probablement dormi dans les miasmes des précédents clients !
Comme endroit fabuleux, c'est navrant.
