Lovely house, well equipped, very comfortable. Host appears to have thought of all needs. The beds were comfy and all the rooms were well furnished. It was great to have two bathrooms.
The location was fine but it is a little walk into town that includes a steep hill, which was no problem for us but may be off putting for some. It was good to have a parking space, but is a little tricky especially in the dark. There seemed to always be parking on the road as well.

Beautiful accommodation, couldn't fault it. Communication very good. We were glad we took a car though as it's much steeper from the town coming back than we anticipated.

The house was very spacious and made an excellent relaxing stay for a family. Loved the roll top bath!!
Having 2 outside seating areas was great. Very close for walking into town although a very steep hill to walk back up! Matlock is a lovely town with a really good park area.
