The location was phenomenal, we had such an awesome few days here. Beautiful beach, INCREDIBLE food and we really relaxed. Julia and Oscar couldn’t have been more helpful with the organisation and hosting
We underestimated the trek down to access the property- pack lightly! But this was our own fault as we ignored their warnings.
There was a slight problem with ants in the property, but that was understandable when the place was so remote, but they could get through the mosquito nets.

Sunset Beach is truly magical, and this guesthouse is perfectly located between the ocean and the jungle, just steps from the shore, making the setting feel even more special.
The owners, a young couple from Barcelona, add to the magic with their relaxed, friendly, and easygoing personalities. I’m very grateful for the conversations I had with Julia—they made my stay even more memorable.
The other guests were also incredibly friendly, which added to the welcoming atmosphere and great vibes at Kamaku. The food is outstanding, among the best I had during my two weeks traveling in Cambodia, and definitely the best on the island in my opinion.
I fell in love with Kamaku and would absolutely love to come back.

The location is just paradise and Jùlia and Óscar are the perfect host …and very good food, too 🫶🥰✌️
…just the plastic that were brought in by the waves and had to be cleaned every single day. Shame on humanity 😔
