Fijne plek voor 1 of 2 overnachtingen!

Super mooie tuin. Vol met planten, beeldjes en allerlei brocante spullen. Het rietgedekte huis waar wij sliepen, is een fijn huis. Het hoofdhuis waar de kinderen sliepen is erg gehorig door houten vloeren. Ontbijt was top!

Wij hadden alleen koud water uit de douche, zowel in de avond als de ochtend. De accommodatie stuurde ons naar het toeristen kantoor voor een rondtoer naar de thee.

A lovely "old style" home set in beautiful gardens. Very comfortable room and a great breakfast.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten. Das Zimmer ist wunderschön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war köstlich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, geben großartige Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.

A charming hidden gem in Clanwilliam!

What a charming guesthouse, set in a beautiful shaded garden. It was not my first visit as I had popped in on a couple of occasions before for tea/lunch, but my first stay-over. Friendly hosts, a lovely pool to cool off, and the breakfast was ample and delicious.

Basic, clean accommodation.

Large basic room, everything that you needed was provided. However the room was fairly dark and without any ‘warmth’. Secure parking on site.

The property was on the edge of Clanwilliam where, unfortunately, we did not feel comfortable with security in the town. We had booked to stay for two nights but changed our plans and left the accommodation after one night. In Response to your comments of my review: It seems you were confusing me with someone else as I certainly did not buy any item from your bric-a-brac stall, nor did I speak to you before leaving. In fact my husband simply returned the door key to a gentleman on reception, without any comment. I have subsequently increased my rating for your establishment.

I (we) would stay at The Yellow Aloe again.

x1 breakfast pack requested and provided - very substantial and appropriate for a (hot) day's walking at Sevilla. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. Rooms were very comfortable. Just one air con remote though which was a bit awkward for 2 room occupancy and different air con preferences.

We did ask the cleaner to remove the cobwebs from the "lampshade" in the lounge. Even showing her, she did not seem to understand our request.

Nice Hotel good located with great service and breakfast

The location was good in the center of Clanwilliam. The hotel is romantic with a nice garden with many fountains and trees. Breakfast was excellent. The service was outstanding. High value for money.

The room was a bit small with few plugs. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit mediterranem Flair.

Zum zweiten Mal im Yellow Aloe - und wieder ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt! Das gesamte Anwesen ist ein Traum - der parkähnliche Garten mit gleich 3 (kleineren) Pools, das wunderschöne historische Longhouse mit geräumigen Zimmern, die auch bei großer Hitze angenehm kühl bleiben (AirCon gibt es natürlich trotzdem!). Hinzu kommt das freundliche Personal (das auf Wunsch sogar das in den Cederbergen total verstaubte Auto blitzblank wäscht!) mitsamt dem aufmerksamen Gastgeber Michel. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, schlicht, aber mit wunderbaren historischen Möbeln ausgestattet und sehr geräumig. Das Bad ist nicht sehr groß, hat aber eine geräumige Dusche. Sehr bequeme Betten! Vor jedem Zimmer ist ein hübscher schattiger Sitzplatz, wo man abends mit Blick in den Garten noch ein Gläschen trinken kann. Auf jeden Fall eine wirklich wunderschöne Unterkunft!

Wunderschöne Oase mit traumhaften Garten und sehr sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern! Für einen Abstecher in die Cederberge oder die Weiterfahrt nach Namibia/Kapstadt wie gemacht…

A lovely stay

Michel & Cheryl were lovely hosts. The room was clean and comfortable, a little bit dark inside but that is because of the build of the old property. The garden was like an Aladdin's cave, lots of quirky ornaments dotted here and there and beautiful plants, it was lovely and peaceful. Joseph looked after us and served delicious breakfasts which were on the terrace overlooking the garden. Cheryl also suggested we went to 'The Sevilla Rock Art trail' and we thoroughly enjoyed it, a stunning drive and a lovely walk. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely little guesthouse; a great base for exploring the area just don’t plan on spending too much time in the town.

Spacious rooms. Lovely garden to relax in. We were in the Long House and had the use of a shared sitting/dining room (with log burner) and kitchen which we had not expected. Handy when two of our family came down with the lurgy and we could not go out as expected. Luckily the weather was good for us. Great breakfast. Joseph (staff member) was fabulous and went the extra mile for us.

The property was great I was just a little disappointed with the town of Clanwilliam. The restaurants are not up to much.

The gardens are lovely and the house very comfy and the friendly, family-type service exceeded all expectations!! The whole team were always available to chat, to offer suggestions, provide directions and to help with dinner bookings.

We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast room was really cozy with a lovely warm fire .

The staff were most friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very enjoyable The beds were comfortable.

The floor of the room looked very stained and unattractive. Table in room could do with a little t l c The towels were clean but need replacement to meet standards.

Wonderful breakfast in a lovely dining room, warmed by a big fireplace. Very pretty olde world surroundings and garden.

Better emergency light in the bedroom. Better explanation that there was a self catering kitchen.

Luxurious, restful accommodation amidst a beautiful, meandering garden. Attentive, but not intrusive staff.

Beautiful, quirky, meandering garden. Though centrally located allowing us to walk to local restaurants with ease; it was quiet and peaceful allowing us to relax.

A quaint guest house with a delicious breakfast

Such a quaint Guest house with a lovely garden. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The gentleman who welcomed us with a cappuccino was very attentive and he served our breakfast with a smile.

the pictures. Staff were nice.

Far too fussy, accommodation was everywhere in the grounds, trinkets hanging and swinging everywhere, far to bitty for us.
