The pool area was lovely and had shade when needed. Plenty of quality sun beds and outdoor table. Lovely and private with views of trees and the sea. The villa was spotless and we could set and stream movies at night or cook a meal together. We could walk to the local restaurants and bars which were fantastic and so friendly. It is along a road stretch but is only 10 mins. Some beautiful beaches nearby our favourite was Turterigo beach and bar which is so lovely calm and sandy. The owner was great as we arrived early and the villa was ready so we could get straight in. He’d left us water and wine and came over to welcome us. We had no problems but I’m confident he would have helped. We had cleaners in to clean mid week also which was fab. The aircon is very good and needed in August. The beds were comfy too and plenty of hot water for a family of 4.

If I were to improve at all on the property access to the outside tap to clean off sand would have been helpful. A small path to get you across the garden to the hose would work.

Just back from our first stay in Skala and we struck gold with Villa Siora Anna. A ten minute walk from the beach and the restaurants and bars, although the first 200m has no pavement, the road is lit and pretty safe even at night. Costas was a great host, lots of communication via Whatsapp, and he booked airport transfers for us Everything worked like clockwork. The villa is really clean (cleaned every 3 days with new towels for pool and bathroom). The beds are very comfortable, the shower is powerful and the air conditioning is really cool in all rooms. The pool was terrific, 5 feet (150cm) at the deepest (not 120cm as advertised). The grounds are really well kept and poolside gets lots of sun all day, the sunbeds are really comfy too! We had the best holiday there.

Nothing at all. It was excellent. I'd feedback that the poolside could do a couple of small tables for the sun loungers, and the kitchen could do with some oven baking trays and scissors, but the facilities were outstanding.

Great location, very helpful host who answered any queries very promptly and excellent facilities and very clean. Walking distance from some beautiful beaches and fantastic restaurants. We loved it and would definitely go back! Costas was a superb host! Very much appreciated being able to use family hotel in Skala as a base after check out as we had a late evening flight.

We had some difficulty finding it when we arrived on a late flight as the address shown on booking.com was wrong! Costas sent some clear instructions but the listing address caused some confusion. There were also some drain issues with the shower but I imagine not unusual in Kefalonia.

Location and privacy were excellent - Costas the host was outstanding, very professional, helpful and always available and quick to respond to any queries. The Villa was cleaned regularly and to an excellent standard. Pool was very clean and well maintained.
