This is a fantastic property and Catherine is a great host. She met us on arrival to let us in and there was a Welcome Basket of necessities in the kitchen - milk, bread, coffee, biscuits and a nice bottle of wine. Catherine even braved a thunderstorm to check that we were OK! The property itself was really nicely decorated and very clean. It had excellent facilities - full kitchen with coffee machine - everything you could want. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Fernfield to anyone else staying in the area. It's centrally located for Derrybeg and Bunbeg and easy to find.
A couple of top tips for future visitors. You can get groceries at Gallagher's over the road - including pods for the coffee machine - and at the Spa a bit further up the road. We can also recommend Apache Pizza, the Sunrise Bistro Indian Takeaway (in Molloy's Spa) and Fara Óg's Restaurant at the An Chuirt hotel.

The cottage was a wonderful retreat during my eight night stay. The entire place was spotlessly clean and wonderfully comfortable. I’m grateful to have had a terrific stay.
