Welcoming stay in nice appartment, perfect location

It was a very welcoming place to stay with three friends. The host was very helfpul, her dad was so warm and hospitable. The rooms were all clean and comfortable. Also an outside space to relax and have a drink. The location was superb, best place to avoid heavy tourism and discover the amalfi coast. Parking was provided by the host.

The kitchen was a bit outdated. No biggie for us because we loved going out for Italian food :)

We highly recommend staying here for the convenience, comfort and hospitality of the owners

The apartment is in Vico Equense, which a perfect location. The city is busy, but not overly crowded. There are a lot of restaurants and shops near the apartment. Its a five minute walk to the train station, so it’s easy to get to Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples. The apartment has a small kitchen, the shower has plenty of hot water and there is air conditioning. Teresa and her father were kind and welcoming. We stayed for one week and thoroughly enjoyed our time in this area and at the Penisola Apartment.

Superb

Spacious apartment, convenient location. The hosts were very pleasant and attentive. The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Thank you!!

Apartment is located in a narrow alley/street. The instructions on how to get there could have been better. For example, the parking location is not at the property but a 5 to to 8 minute walk from the property. If I have known that, then I would not try and squeeze the car into the narrow alley. Other than this minor inconvenience, everything was great.

Host was gentle, welcoming and available.

Facilities given by the Penisola Apartments are not value for the price. Leaking shower base which renders all bathroom humid should be repaired. Though the suggested coffee shop (breakfast tickets were provided by the host) was nice and easy to reach, both the quality and the freshness of cappuccino and croissant were very bad. And the barmaids were not at all welcoming. Unfortunately, these negative aspects forced me and my friends not to return there again for a coffee on the next day.

Great location and accommodations.

Loved the location. It was such a beautiful and neighborly town. The owner was super communicative before and once we got the check in situation figured out was welcoming.

The check in. There are no real directions given. The owner asked I message when about 10 minutes away, which I did. Our driver couldn't take us to the apartment, because cars not allowed on that street. So, dropped us off not far. That wasn't a problem, but once we found the apartment building didn't have any direction of how to get in. Unfortunately, I wasn't getting service in the area, so was also unable to contact the owner to see where they were. I buzzed a couple of the buildings on the apartment directory. I hated to bother people, but had no idea how to get through the gate. The owner should provide more detail for this so people checking in aren't so lost.

Spacious and central apartment - very nice owners

The owner, Teresa, and her family were really welcoming and ready to help with anything. For example when we needed extra air-conditioning units, and also they provided secure parking for our hire car. The location is great for all the restaurants and shops in Vico Equense and a very short distance to the Hotel Sporting private beach. The apartment is a good size, the bathroom was really modern and well equipped, and the aircon in the main living area was very good.

Some parts of the apartment were a little in need of updating, and the kitchen did not have either a lot of space or equipment if you wanted to prepare food. As we mostly ate out it wasn't a problem for us. The outside seating area (shared with the other apartments) is quite noisy because of the kitchen window of the next door restaurant overlooking it.

You get what you pay for

The apartment is relatively large

During our stay we would wake up to one of the following: loud construction at 7 in the morning, no hot water, or no water at all. Bear in mind that we stayed here for 5 days, so this was not a one off case. When I informed the host about the issues, she brushed it off and didn't think it was a problem. On the third day I asked the host if she could compensate us for part of our stay; she said no, but brought us "the best pastries". We stayed in the bottom unit which was old, run down, and sort of dungy. The windows are incredibly thin, so you can hear everything that is happening in the courtyard. Regarding breakfast, this is the biggest joke, because she gives you a card to a cafe which is valid for a coffee and a croissant. Of all my stays across Italy, that is not the definition of breakfast. Also, there is no "beach view".

We traveled with 3 adults and 2 kids and this property was perfect for us. We were able to enjoy the region and the host

I loved that is was at a great location, easy to get to the best restaurants, gelateria, train station and beaches. The host is lovely and had a list of activities, tours and places for us to visit, which helped us a lot! I strongly recommend it and can’t wait to go back to Vico Equense!

Because of how the apartments are set, you can hear your neighbors when they shower or are in the bathroom. But once we closed the bedroom door that goes to the laundry area the noise went away.

Wonderful stay

Teresa is one of the best hosts, she was always available and helpful. She welcomed us with the best sweets in town when we arrived and sent us away with a thoughtful parting gift. She gave us great tips on where to eat (Gelateria Gabriele was especially superb!) The flat has all the amenities you would need on holidays. We really had the chance to experience Vico Equense like a local.

This is not a comment on the flat but for the town: Reaching the beach was a challenge. The closest beach is Sporting Beach which we were supposed to reach by an elevator but we never managed to find that elevator! Teresa gave us directions, we asked in the reception of the Sporting Hotel, we asked to locals. We tried several times to locate it but alas! We never found it :)

Brilliant!

Friendly host, welcomed with some speciality from the area and chilled water on arrival:). Milk and variety biscuits for breakfast. Perfect location with shops, great cafes (loved cafe' Zerilli) and restaurants with amazing food. The 2 beaches were excellent in particular (antico bagno delle sirene). Beautiful area! I recommend it!!

lovely town, lovely flat and owner!

very helpful owner. very large and comfortable flat. perfect location. Vico Equense is a lovely town to stay if you visit Napoli and Seranto. free parking was not far from the flat and was huge plus. it was realy good stay.
