A beautiful, traditional house in a pretty village, ideally situated for anyone, like us, who wants a holiday walking in the mountains of the Picos de Europa. There are also pleasant shorter walks from the house itself. Patricia, the host, was extremely welcoming and helpful

Although the property was very good, it was a pity that the road next to the house was noisy, which took some of the enjoyment away from relaxing in the garden. Also, it would have been helpful if there was an information booklet showing things like nearest supermarket, doctors etc. One more point was that the bathrooms were quite dated with poor shower fittings. Overall though, we had a great time staying in the area.

Spent eight days here exploring the charming coastal towns and towering Picos inland. This house is perfectly situated within walking distance of several coves and beaches but also a short drive away from the mountainous areas inland. Would really recommend a visit to the Sobrellano Palace and Gaudi architecture at Comillas as well as Ribadesella and Potes.
Patricia was a perfect host always quick to reply to any questions we had. The house is large and well equipped for dining in and out and it has a big garden with a comfortable outdoor seating area. Traditional in style the house does feel a bit dark however but there is plenty of lighting to compensate.
Would definitely recommend staying here as Naves is a quiet village with a verdant backdrop of forested hills. Be sure to go to the local Sideria for dinner. But you have to like meat!!
