Big, spacious house with a living room (incl. smart TV), big terrace (with a beautiful view), and 2 parking spots. The price is really affordable given the size and the possiblity of being there in groups of 7-8 people. The place is also clean.
Regarding the accommodation per se, nothing really bad can be said (especially for that price). The point reduction comes from the unsatisfactory key handover. We arrived late at night (around 22:00), and the host was still cleaning the house, so we had to wait about 45 mins outside before we could enter. Apparently the issue was that we did not confirm via WhatsApp before, and he was caught by surprise... I am a bit skeptical about this; when something is confirmed on booking, it is confirmed. Also, the automatic Booking message never explicitly asked us to confirm via WhatsApp and in any case, an accommodation should be ready so late at night.
Anyways, do not have the same experience and I would rather shoot him a message to avoid such uncomfortable situations. After this encounter however, Muhamad texted us to make sure we were alright and everything was good.
Also, I wasn't a big fan that the house looked like someone had been living there before us. The kitchen was stacked with food, the fridge was full, and the wardrobe contained old clothes and dresses.

Amazing view, as long as you don't look directly down. Reasonably priced for the size. Located a short drive from the Petra visitor centre but too far to walk to anything really. Comfortable beds. Very spacious and good size of rooms and kitchen. Spectacular sunsets and view over Wadi Musa.
Turbulent check in with the host eventually readying the apartment two hours after the agreed time. Apartment interior not particularly clean, with floors unhoovered and mysterious stains in the kitchen and an assortment of things in the fridge. A lot of the interior is not in great condition, the kitchen table and chairs are exterior plastic patio furniture, the bedding has holes in it, there are random wooden pallets in each bedroom. The host will come once a day to feed the collection of rabbits which live in piles of their own waste on the roof of the apartment, and will scrabble around throughout the night waking you up. Like heartbreakingly much of Jordan, the exterior is treated like an open air rubbish bin, with the host himself dumping the contents of his ashtray directly into the garden. The stairway down to the accommodation is unfinished and similarly covered in garbage.
