Firstly, Cefalu’ is expensive. Having an affordable accommodation, such as Delle Rose makes it possible to enjoy Cefalu’ for those on a budget.
My room was clean and sufficiently comfortable but what I loved was having a generous and delicious breakfast on the terrace (the warm pistachio cornetto was my favorite) and the kindness of the host who was so responsive and picked me up at the train station upon request for no extra cost. I didn’t get to speak to the older members of the family but I’m under the impression they are very kind as well. The location worked well for me as it was within walking distance to the town center but away from the crowds. Do walk to the top of La Rocca if you are fit for it - it’s gorgeous.
I would say, based on my room, the accommodation is closer to a 3 star vs 4. That was just fine with me but others might be sensitive to star ratings. It’s important to remember that Cefalu’ is especially touristic therefore expensive so I thought Delle Rose was good value considering. The walls are a bit thin so you will hear your neighbors (and they you) if loud but I found people were quiet at night.

Staff very friendly and obliging. Rooms are excellent comfortable spacious and very clean. Excellent breakfast lots to choose and plenty of it! Parking facilities were excellent

Staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff were exceptional.
Location was a little far from center but definitely manageable.
