This place, as I write, has a plus 9 review score but I am left wondering how? I suspect the friendly hosts and group meals are the main reason.
- Friendly staff
- Great location
The one thing that stands out was the state of the bunks. This was more 40th night on the Camino, where I even stayed at municipal run albergues for 7 euros, but this place had the worst beds. They wobbled so much and I tested all the beds in my room and they were the same.
- Poor bunks, uncomfortable mattresses
- Not enough bathrooms, basically one toilet for 9 or 10 people, which is totally inadequate. They should reduce the number of beds.
- No outside space, I had to leave my shoes to dry in the street
- No guest common space, there is the reception/dining/kitchen area, but the hosts are often there and I didn't particularly feel comfortable eating my own food.

Wow. Such wonderful staff and amazing albergue. We arrived tired and they fed us a free meal and looked after us. They helped us get a bus back to Santiago and recommended really great places to eat. I don't normally comment on booking.com but this place is so good!

Loved this albergue! The staff are great and the breakfast was excellent. It was clean, the bed confortable and close to the church and lighthouse. I really enjoyed my stay there, a great way to end the camino.
