Spacious, airy apartment, bright in the morning and shaded and cool in the afternoon, located behind the communal, raised first floor; Is composed of an entrance, a large dining / living room, a bedroom with a double bed and a cot, two bedrooms with a double bed, a kitchen, a balcony (small and unobstructed) with washing machine, large bathroom but not modern. Very close to the beach of the old town, at the foot of the path to Vernazza. It has no particular facets, but insists on the square of the "movida" monteroxin.

Spacious older apartment in the center of old town. Located next to the hiking trail to Vernazza. Steps from the beach. Owner responsive. Speaks Italian so verbal communication can be problematic if you don't speak Italian. Apartment is older so comes with much charm as well as some challenges. Owner is super responsive and a very nice gentleman. The location is ideal but it is noisy in morning as the apartment is located next to the school and near trail. Monterosso best at night when the hoards of tourists have left. We enjoyed our stay.

We were two couples traveling together and this place was more than big enough. There was a third room we did not use at all. The place is a little older but in good shape and a good value for location/size. The only minor issue we had was meeting the owner. He does not speak English and I don't speak Italian but we figured it out. I would recommend this place. I like the old town Monterroso but new town is just a 10 minute stroll right next to the ocean.

Monterosso and the Cinque Terre is a fabulous destination to enjoy the sea and outstanding Italian seafood. This apartment is ideally located with plenty of space to easily accommodate our family of five. You are steps from the sea, the trail to Vernazza and the heart of the town. Our host was prompt with communications and thorough with explaining the functionality of the apartment. We would stay here again.
