We had a large balcony, and the staff were very kind.
I had been charged via Booking.com and they tried to charge me for my room again at time of paying the city tax. It was difficult with the language barrier but luckily it got sorted out, though they seemed a bit upset like I was trying to get out of paying for it.

Lovely welcome on arrival. Really friendly staff. Great breakfast. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided every time.
Although not a problem for us, if visitors are arriving in Monterosso by train there is a steep walk up the driveway of the hotel.

We loved our rooms, we got multiple rooms to fit our family! We loved the breakfast and the staff was so so sweet. We did rent their Chairs at Stalla Marina and it was SUPERB! Loved everything about it!
The hike up the hill is a bit rough, but it's also to charming and worth it when you get there! I wish they would have had a "happy hour or Apertivo" time. They have such an amaznig space for gathering and entertaining.

Location was excellent - beautiful old villa in the new part of town. Easy walk to everywhere and car parking.
We were room 15 - fridge and tv did not work, bathroom was tired - rusty towel racks and signs of black mould above the shower, old fixtures and fittings. Owner was less than friendly!
