The pool area and view was amazing. There is a couple of restaurants and shops within a 5/10 minute walk. The rooms all have air conditioning.
One of the 8 bedrooms is a bed in the alcove of the living room with only a curtain as a door. There was no kitchen towel or tea towels and the upstairs kitchen was lacking salt, pepper and other condiments. It would have also been nice to have a few toiletries, water and extra toilet paper. On one day the cold water in the downstairs en suite went off and it took a while for this to be fixed. There was also a sewage smell in the upstairs apartment.

Todo excepcional, a la casa no le falta un detalle, está súper limpia y con todas las comodidades. Alfonso, el anfitrión, una persona muy agradable y siempre atento a todo lo que pudiéramos necesitar. La recomiendo totalmente, es un acierto.

Charming house with a nice pool. It had all the amenities we needed. The host was very kind and helpful. Beautiful views all around. The little mountain town has a few excellent restaurants and bars where you can experience the local lifestyle (you must visit La Parra). Your legs will definitely get a workout. :) Overall, it's a superb location within easy reach of most Costa del Sol towns and cities if you have a car.
All the minor problems we encountered were quickly resolved by the attentive host. One thing to be aware of is that in late June, there can be quite a few tiny, mostly invisible insects outdoors in the evenings. Their bites can be rather unpleasant, especially if you're not used to them, although effective creams and other treatments are readily available in local pharmacies and supermarkets.
