I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bamboo as the managers went out of their way to ensure that I have pleasant time. The room itself is a great deal, as it is equipped with all essentials and is 2min walking distance from the beach. All in all, the value is fantastic, so I can 100% recommend it.

Very nice staff, always friendly and helpful in all belongings! If you are up to a cheap but valuable accomodation, its highly recommendable. The nearby beach is beautiful and empty (at least off season) and the village seems to be more local and less touristic than the one at the beach nearby.

Fabulous Bamboo bungalows

Loved Bamboo bungalow. We were looking for simple old school style bungalow with fan just like the old days in Thailand & this was it! Beautiful beach not far away..we were so happy there. Definitely be back ..please don't ever change!! Also great food nearby especially breakfast at Ram & Pha ...loved the neighbourhood & all the people ✨💕

Cute bungalows with hammock, nice garden environment - especially the free running chickens and cats, gave us the feeling we were far away from everything. Amazing beach within 100 meters, comfortable terraces on the bungalows to relax on. The Bamboo Bungalow team were incredibly friendly and helpful and they did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. If you're looking for a place to escape the crowds for a few days, or longer, then this is it.

For us it was too far away from everything. When it rains there is nothing to do. Visiting anywhere on the island requires a 45 minute moped journey, or at least 800 Baht with taxis.

If you need a basic, reasonably priced bungalow near the sea, this fits the bill.

Basic no-frills room but nice situation in a tropical garden and near the sea.

Relaxed

Sung, the owner, is very kind and helpful. He picked me up at the pier and also drove me back. He was constantly asking if everything was ok and helped me fix or coordinate everything I needed. The bungalows are simple, clean and located around beautiful vegetation. If you’re looking for chilled, gorgeous beach, this is the place.

Good value for money

The staff was helpful when we needed a new fan. Location very close to beautiful relaxed beach. No big crowds on that side of the island. The hammock was nice.

No drinking water station close by. Veranda falling apart a bit - could use some maintenance. No chairs on veranda or in room. Ceiling fan could only run full speed which made it impossible to use at night for mosquito protection.

The local people are very friendly and An can help you with everything and is really kind.

No Ac, it’s very hot in the bungalow’s, an there are many bugs everywhere.

The bungalows are super close to the beach. The owner is very nice and welcoming. Good value for the money. There is a bar and a pool table. Good vibes

A simple upgrade of hot water and a mosquito net would be nice and make our stay even better. The place looks a little neglected and needs some more love.

So relaxing.

Super quiet affordable little cabins in a beautiful location right off the beach. Each cabin has a hammock outside and has everything you need inside. Perfect for travelling alone or with one other person. The beach is about a 1 min walk away and the cabins are located right behind a couple of beach bar/restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Hot water wasn't working Roosters, Tuko, and all sort of random noise LOL. Not easy to sleep.

Bamboo Bungalow is great!

The owner, Zung is a gentleman and he did everything possible to make me feel welcome. The housekeeper, Not is a genuinely lovely man, I couldn't ask for better hosts.

Very few other tourists/guests. Come and stay, its great! The local food is exceptional this village will look after you.

Peaceful stay in nature

Trung really looked after me, picked me up from the pier and took me back, made sure I was ok every day. A really nice guy!

Awesome place with a great atmosphere
