About this house rental
Nestled in Syracuse, this lovely house for $128 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The villa is divided into 2 independent apartments. My husband and I live in one of them. The guest apartment is composed of 1 bedroom with double bed and air conditioning, 1 bedroom with 2 beds (one of them queen-size) and air-conditioning, a kitchen with oven, refrigerator with freezer, washing machine and all necessary cooking items and a large bathroom with walk-in shower and WC. At the outside our guests can enjoy a private patio (which offers absolute privacy and faces south)with a table and 4 chairs, barbecue and pizza oven and a beautiful garden. There is also a table football and a badminton set. Free functioning wifi Free parking inside the property Furthermore there is a large pool for the exclusive use of our guests; The house is situated in a residential area and is mostly surrounded by countryside, therefor I recommend a car to get around Just a 2-minute walk away there is a large well stocked supermarket which also sells ready-made food to take away. My house is located in a strategic position, in a 15 minutes drive you can reach Ortigia (the old city center with the famous little beach Calarossa), in 5 minutes the greek theater and in 20 minutes the nearest beaches. Also the motorway access is easy and fast, making it ideal for visiting places like Noto, Taormina, Ragusa and Modica and to explore the south-east coast of Sicily. Coronavirus Info: social distancing is absolutely guaranteed. The cleaning of the apartment is up to the strictest standards to guarantee the wellbeing of our guests.

We are a dutch family of 4 and stayed with Charlotte in august. We had a realy great time. The garden is amasing and the pool is realy nice and very clean. The house is comfortabel and complete. The house is is a good base for day trips, nice towns, nice and beautifull beaches and to visit the Etna. We highly recorment a stay here.

The villa was perfectly located to travel around sites and tourist spots. It was clean & bright & had everything your could possibly need for self catering. We did eat out a lot as well. The pool was a really good size and was very clean. Charlotte was a lovely host. Excellent communication before our stay and had hints and tips while we were there.

Had a fantastic stay at Charlotte’s property. She was very helpful and recommended good restaurants during our stay. We are a family of four and it was really nice to have the pool for our own afternoon siesta.
Good location and easy to get into Siracusa/Ortigia and beyond.

We had a great stay, it was the relaxing holiday we wanted. Charlotte was a perfect host, not only regarding the villa, which was excellent but with all the useful information for the immediate vicinity and further a field. The villa was in a good location for Syracuse and for hopping on the motorway to explore the region. We would definitely recommend a stay here, if you're looking for a relaxing break, exploring or a mixture of both as we were. Perfect!

Ein Oase der Freude
Was kann man über Charlottes Unterkunft sagen, außer dass sie einen ganz besonderen Ort ihr Zuhause nennen kann und man als Draufgabe eine Unterkunftgeberin die mit ihrer Herzlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit einen den Urlaub zum wahren Erlebnis macht. Wir haben das Gefühl eine Freundin dazugewonnen zu haben und wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen! Also in Summe kann ich nur sagen: Charlottes Zuhause ist ein Paradebeispiel für die Italienische Gastfreundschaft!

Excellent séjour
Charlotte et Sebastiano sont charmants, accueillants et discrets. La location est tout à fait conforme à l'annonce. La piscine très propre s'est révélée très agreable et indispensable alors que la température atteignait 40 degrés! Le petit jardin est maginifique! Le coin barbecue très bien entretenu nous a permis de cuisiner tranquillement des saucisses bien grillées. La location est très propre, bien équipée en particulier avec la climatisation elle aussi indispensable. Elle est très bien située pour se rendre au centre de Syracuse ou pour naviguer dans la région.

schöne Wohnung mit Garten und großem Pool
Hallo Charlotte, wir haben uns in Deinem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt bei Dir sehr genossen. Besonders der Pool hat uns sehr gut gefallen, und die schöne Terrasse nach hinten heraus. Dadurch haben wir den Lärm der nahen Straße nicht so laut mitbekommen. Vielen Dank für deine Gastfreundschaft und guten Tipps die Du uns gegeben hast.

Wunderschöne Villa mit Pool, Grill und Garten
Wir würden sehr nett begrüßt mit bereits bereit gestellten und gekühlten Getränken. Wir waren leider viel zu kurz in der schönen Villa bei Charlotte.
Unsere Kinder fanden den Außenbereich mit Granatapfel-, Zitronen- und Orangenbäumen super. Den sehr sauberen Pool mussten sie trotz des nicht so warmen Wetters dennoch testen. Ausstattung in der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man für einen Urlaub mit Selbstverpflegung benötigt. Syrakus und seine Umgebung ist sauberer als andere Städte in Sizilien, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Charlotte hat uns mit vielen Tipps versorgt was man alles unternehmen kann. Wir waren in der Altstadt von Syrakus und im nahen Naturschutzgebiet um Flamingos zu beobachten, ebenso in den alten Fischerdorf Marzanemi. Leider war unsere Zeit viel zu kurz um noch weitere Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Der Check-in und Out war super unproblematisch und die Kommunikation super. In 100m Entfernung gibt es einen Supermarkt mit frischen Brötchen Wurst, Käse, etc. alles was man benötigt. Ebenso in die andere Richtung 500m entfernt ist eine Pizzeria, wo es uns sehr gut geschmeckt hat, die Bedienung war sehr nett und man auch Pizza mitnehmen und zuhaus essen. Die Lage war super, da es etwas außerhalb lag, aber dennoch trotz an der Straße liegend relativ ruhig. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und können es absolut empfehlen.

A perfect base for visiting southern Sicily
We loved staying in Charlotte’s home and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The online description and photos are very accurate and everything we needed was provided. The house was very clean and user friendly and the lush, green garden perfect for eating and relaxing. Charlotte is a lovely, warm host always happy to help. She gave us very useful advice on places to visit and local restaurants. We thought the price was very reasonable for the accommodation provided.

Excellent apartment
Every apartment should come with its own Charlotte, very welcoming even on our late arrival and very knowledgeable with nothing seeming too much trouble. The apartment is situated 100mts from a very good supermarket that stays open till 9pm (and does fresh pizza!! to take out) . Well equipped kitchen , spacious bedrooms with fabulous aircon. Very private accommodation even though the owners lived in the front part of the property the pool area and rear patio are all yours for relaxing in and not overlooked at all. All in all a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Great appartment and a good pool
Our host Charlotte was very welcoming and we felt very welcom when we arrived.
Good size appartment with all you need, two bedrooms with AC and a nice outdoor area, and the pool was super fun!
The only thing we could think of that would make the place complete was Mar shading on the outdoor space, it gets super hot!
We felt like we had the whole place to our self.
There home feels safe with high fences and a gate. There is a good supermarket just a few minutes walk.
There isn't much else going on just outside the hose, so you need a car to get around.
The hos has good tips and hints for the area around Siracusa.

Bestens Zufrieden in Syrakus
Im September 2018 hatten wir eine sehr gute und angenehme Zeit in der schönen Wohnung. Alles war zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit, sauber und gepflegt. Die nach hinten gelegene Terrasse ist schön sonnig, den ganzen Tag über und man ist für sich. In Kombination mit dem schönen Pool lässt es sich super entspannen. Leider ist auch auf der Hausrückseite die Hauptverkehrsstrasse immer noch gut zu hören, dafür ist man schnell in Syrakus, und ein guter Supermarkt ist ganz in der Nähe...
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben den Aufenthalt auch durch den freundlich, netten Empfang der Vermieterin sehr genossen.

The one thing this has got that the others haven't is Charlotte. Nothing was too much trouble we mentioned we liked to walk and she rang the ranger to see where was safe to roam at the moment, she told us about a lovely walk to a nature reserve and beach that we did and a great walk through a valley with limestone cliffs. It really made the holiday. We had a car but walked into town and the Island about a 45 minute walk a few times, but you can get the bus from the archeological park so only a 15 minute walk. We tended to use the barbeque but we did eat out locally there are a few restaurants only 10-15 minutes walk away. The Conrad supermarket we visited everyday as it is only a short walk away and has fresh bread, meat and fish counters. We really enjoyed our stay in Syracuse.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit Pool
Wir haben ein wunderbares Ferienhaus mit Pool und Garten vorgefunden. Es war mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und dazu hatten wir eine Vermieterin die uns sehr freundlich empfangen und verabschiedet hat.
Charlotte hatte einige sehr gute Tipps für uns und war immer da wenn man Fragen hatte.
Ansonsten hat man kaum bemerkt das die Vermieterin sich auf dem gleichen Grundstück aufgehalten hat.
Wir haben den Urlaub in diesem Haus sehr genossen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Wir können dieses Haus und seine Vermieterin wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Charlotte la propriétaire de la maison est une personne adorable, très serviable et à l'écoute de ses hôtes. Sa maison, un peu à l'écart du centre ville (il vaut mieux être en voiture) est parfaitement équipée et le beau jardin agrémenté d'une piscine est un havre de paix, isolé de la route très passante qui se trouve devant la maison.

Wunderschöner Garten mit Pool, einfach super!
Die Ferienwohnung war sehr schön und der wunderschöne, grüne Garten mit schönem Pool und großer Terrasse ein einziger Traum. Wir waren mit unseren 2 Kindern in Sizilien und nach einem Ausflugstag haben wir uns am nächsten Tag immer im eigenen Garten aufgehalten. Ein Sprung in den Pool gleich nach dem Aufstehen und vor dem Schlafen.... was will man mehr. Sehr gepflegte Wohnung mit großem Bad, geräumigen Schlafzimmern, Küche und Grill. Auch an heißen Tagen haben wir im Garten immer ein schattiges Plätzchen gefunden.
Charlotte und Sebastiano sind sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeber, die uns viele nützliche Tipps gegeben haben. 100% Empfehlung!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the apartment for a week during mid-July and would recommend it to others without hesitation. Charlotte is a welcoming and delightful hostess and was concerned to ensure our comfort and satisfaction at all times.
Siracusa is an excellent location from which to explore the eastern side of Sicilia by car. The city itself has much to offer in terms of things to see and do: generally exploring and visiting the sights could easily occupy a couple of days in itself. Further afield, the autostrada gives straightforward access to many other towns and sites to both the north and south, as well as inland. Places we visited included Noto, Ragusa, Taormina and the Roman Villa del Casale. All were memorable and are highly recommended. Mount Etna looms in the distance as a backdrop to many a view.
The apartment accommodates 2-4 people with comfort and comprises the rear half of the owners’ property, which is set in a walled garden. The bedrooms are of a good size, while there is a large bathroom and a kitchen. It is furnished to a good standard, is provided with very effective aircon and has Wi-Fi that will support video calls. There’s no internal relaxed seating, although for much of the year that will hardly be necessary. Outside, there is a patio with seating for dining together with a BBQ range. The swimming pool is a delightful place to cool off and relax in. All in all, an excellent place to stay.

We stayed at Charlotte's house for the last two weeks of June. The house was easy to find with the instructions of Charlotte and navigation. It was clean and comfortable. Both airco's worked great. It was especially nice that basic things like toilet paper hand/washing soap, cooking oils etc where all supplied with the house. The pool was clean and the BBQ was very nice. Charlotte was a great help. The location is great for exploring the east coast of Sicily. The Conad supermarket is quite large and only 200m from the house. A little bit further there is also a discount supermarktet (ARD) which is good if you need more supplies for a whole family. The nearest pub and pizzeria are about a 20 minute walk. Too bad that the busstop is closed, so you will need a car. We really recommend this house!!
