The single best hotel/hostel/etc I've encountered in my entire Central Asia journey. It checks every single box a backpacker is looking for: affordable, very clean, simple and straightforward, self-contained room (with a nice desk!), lovely shared areas (great "living room" and kitchen), a wonderfully cozy and calm environment, and most of all, a fantastic, attentive family that runs the entire venture. This is a *perfect* place to spend a few days (or more) really taking it easy and/or using it as a base to explore Fergana Valley. I ended up spending five nights here, and it really felt like an oasis on my trip. A couple other guests stayed the same length as me, and I know they felt similarly. Thank you, Elsevar!

Clean room. Good sound proofing. Great location. Nice, polite owner.
Washing machine was locked. Never got to hear the reason. If the breakfast on the table is not covered, recommend skipping breakfast. Air-conditioner is set at 24 degree Celsius and is centrally controlled. The customer cannot change it.
