Lovely peaceful location in the countryside with some nice walks around the property. Very nice modern apartment.
Plenty of space for parking. A few other properties in the complex.
Very close to Kingsbridge. Lovely pub on the river here, ‘The Crabshell’ . We visited Slapton Sands, Dartmouth, Hope Cove (one beach is dog friendly) Salcombe, North Sands is dog friendly. Lots of narrow single track lanes to and from the accommodation so if you are a nervous driver probably not for you.
Some of the kitchen wasn’t clean, some drawers had a lot of crumbs in them. Oven hob wasn’t clean, spilled food on it. Fridge wasn’t clean. Wardrobes smelt musty which made our clothes smell. Old wardrobes. Maybe a scented sachet would help. Cobwebs by sofa where nothing has been moved to clean thoroughly. If you are not tall it may be a problem opening some of the windows as they are set back.

Location is great, swimming pool & games room are excellent - particularly great for children. The property itself was beautiful and was well equipped with everything we needed for our family stay.
Unfortunately some guests staying in the farmhouse took over the pool, they were disrespectful of the rules and left it dirty for other guests. Thankfully Sykes and the owners were really helpful and sorted out the problem really quickly, so it didn't spoil our holiday.
