1. The friendly and chatty receptionist who has been very helpful from the beginning of my booking. She kept follow up with my booking. The other hotel staffs are friendly too. 2. Check in time 3:00pm which is rare in Kuantan (usually we can check in at 2:00pm in other hotels) and check out at 12:00noon. 3. Thank god i booked a queen bedroom so i have enough space to move around and to solat.The bed, the pillow and the beedsheet all looked clean and wangi. TV provided some channnels but depends on the unstable wifi. The room has enough lightings and dim light for sleeping. 4. A Coway water machine and an iron facilities are provided on the 1st floor for the whole dozens of room to share. 5. Free car park? 6. While its location is near to the jungle and wild monkeys can be seen near the grounds of the hotel, but its still near to the university UMPSA where i went for the Convocation.
1. The most expensive budget hotel I've ever paid in Kuantan; about RM106 per night! There are two more budget hotels nearby and situated in a better, safer location than this one. All rooms situated on the 1st floor/upper floor. 2. Thank god i read the previous reviews. A tiny soap in the size of old 50 sen provided and a small scroll of toilet paper for my 2 nights stay!! So bring my own shower gel,shampoo, tissues and the bathroom slippers since the bathroom looks old. The sink is small,becareful or your head will bump onto the mirror above the sink. 3.The old aircond was noisy for the first 30 mins and too cold at night bcoz rainy season has started. The room will get warm during the hot day. Thank god I bring the extension cord because the only one point provided is near the TV and far from the bed. 4. The room's key is complicated and sometimes I didnt realise I left the room without locking it. 5. I recommend to park your car near the entrance to the reception coz it has enough light there, bcoz it is eerily dark and too quiet at night outside the hotel. There can be wild monkeys nearby. The hotel is situated too far behind near some abandoned shops and mini factories so when the U's Convocation ended, the whole area is too dark, empty and erie at night. All of the rooms also empty,so i decided to leave after the event ended and not waiting for the next day.
