The beds were reasonable. The interoir looks okay. The entrance and location of this hostel is located in a relatively quiet neighbourhood. There is a shared kitchen and the amount of bathrooms and showers seems sufficiënt. The rooms were clean. Easy entrance by booking.com message with instructions.
the curtains were so thin, that even the streetlights make it feel like you are on stage. I think this is done to 'stimulate' guests checking-out in time, but I find this unreasonable in the summer time when the sun rises early. The bathrooms and showers had sewage issues; sometimes water was flowing back up in the showers and toilet were almost impossible to flush without flowing over. The cutlery and glasses in the kitchen were not very clean, so I had to clean them myself. A nearby intersection has sound assistance for visually impaired/blind people wanting to cross the streets, but the 'standby' ticking was heard and made it a bit harder to fall asleep.
If the curtains are replaced and the plumbing issues are resolved, this stay would be an 8.
