We had a very good time with John. Nice man. He was helpful to park our bicycles in safe area. Rooms are good and quiet.

I really recommend John's place! I extended my stay because I found Johns place to be the perfect place to explore the wider area. I found the room to be comfortable and clean, good WiFi for the work I needed to do. But most of all.... john himself was such a great host! Patient, friendly, helpful, a true local who is excellent in all his advice and suggestions.
Around the guesthouse are plenty of things in easy walking distance: chai stalls, restaurants, temples, ferries,... You're really in the heart of the city.
I'll definitely stay again if I'm in the area :)
Really, nothing to complain of. Well, there's no hot water but... Trust me, you don't need it in Kerala's climate p :)

Good property with an old vibe.
Not maintained properly.
There was no staff to support, had to call the owner for anything.
He was really good.
