A very disappointing experience — we felt misled by the accommodation and its advertised facilities, and the poor condit

Unfortunately, there was nothing about the property that we particularly liked or that made our stay enjoyable. We genuinely felt misled by the accommodation and very disappointed with our experience.

In our opinion, the accommodation was not suitable for a holiday rental in its current condition. Several things advertised or expected from the booking were not as we found them on arrival. The apartment was extremely hot with poor ventilation. Two fans did not work, while the only working fan was unsafe to use because the protective grille was not properly secured. The shower in the smaller bathroom could not be used, leaving our family with only one usable shower. The internet connection was also poor. Overall, the apartment appeared poorly maintained, with old and worn-out furniture and equipment. These conditions made our stay very uncomfortable, and we checked out before the agreed date. During our stay, we were also told by neighbours that previous guests had experienced similar problems and had complained about the condition of the accommodation. They were concerned enough to advise us to report the situation to the building president. I explained to them that I had already submitted a complaint to Booking.com regarding our experience. While we cannot independently verify the previous guests’ experiences, this added to our concerns about the condition of the property.

Beautiful apartment in Torremolinos

Area, convenient location

Meet and greet.....was late for agreed time and not very helpful. Our flight was delayed, and she said she wouldn't wait after the agreed time. First night very hot with no water switched on. Air conditioning only one room, the bedrooms had very old fans that sounded like a helicopter. Broken curtain rail held in with tin foil wrapped around one of the two screws. Coffee/tea machine leaked. The swimming pool was not available to use. Hose in the shower was perished, and water was coming out everywhere .Toilet seats in both rooms were very loose and moved when anyone sat down ( I nearly fell down the side of the toilet). We were given no safety instructions or emergency service numbers. There was no fire extinguisher or blanket in the kitchen. Lastly the keys we were given were newly cut and not all of them worked but we managed with what we had. This was definitely not as described in Booking. Com. Very old and dated. I would be very interested to know if it has any safety certificates or has ever been inspected for lettings.
