Whitestar Guesthouse

To be honest, I was quite worried before arriving after reading some of the negative reviews. I had read comments about insects/ants in rooms, missing bathroom mirrors and poor room conditions. We were honestly expecting the worst, but our experience turned out to be much better than expected! We had a very spacious and exceptionally clean room, with air conditioning and even an extra single bed, despite booking for two people. We were genuinely impressed by how clean everything was. I had read reviews complaining that some rooms didn’t even have a bathroom mirror, but our bathroom had one, along with a clean shower curtain and a window, which we really appreciated. The toilet looked like it had been replaced relatively recently, and the flooring also appeared to have been updated. These little details made the bathroom better than we had expected. Breakfast was included in our stay. Although the selection was more or less the same every day, we enjoyed it. There was a good variety of options, including boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, milk and cereals. One of the biggest advantages was the private parking. This was actually one of the main reasons we chose this accommodation, as finding parking in Malta when travelling with a rental car can be quite challenging. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We were extremely happy with our stay, especially considering the price we paid. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it. Don’t let all the negative reviews put you off, our experience was genuinely very positive!

Nothing to complain about. We really enjoyed our stay!

Location: perfect! Initially it seems difficult to get there by bus, just because different bus driver "skip" the right bus stop and leave you at the next one, but after some days we found a way to get there even from Salina stop without walking on the highway. Then, the location is out of the city and very calm and relaxing place, but well connected to the center of bugibba. Nice swimming pool sorrounded by the garden.

Breakfast "enough": good for the value and there's the essential, including eggs. You just not have to expect a "full" breakfast with everything like sweet and salt such as croissant, yogurt, and bacon. but there's juice, hot drinks, something sweet and salt to eat. Bathroom not so big and towels are changed not daily, but it's enough like twice.
