This property is rated quite a bit higher than what it actually offers...be careful

This property is rated quite a bit higher than what it actually offers. The apartment was relatively clean on the surface, but the overall impression was very disappointing. There were multiple issues throughout our stay, including several non-functioning electrical outlets — including two around the TV, which made the TV unusable — broken floor lamps, a vacuum that did not work and appeared extremely dirty, a moldy pillow, and heavily stained carpets in the bedrooms. The overall condition of the furnishings and carpets felt excessively worn and unclean. We initially overlooked some concerns because we arrived late at night, tired and with limited lighting, and spent very little time in the apartment during the first few days. However, after properly seeing the unit in daylight, we no longer felt comfortable staying there and requested either a different apartment or an early check-out. Both requests were denied by the property. We were offered a quick repair visit, but it was difficult to see how broken outlets, stained carpets, and worn furniture could realistically be resolved quickly during our stay. We also did not want to spend part of our vacation waiting for repairs and maintenance visits. We ultimately decided to forfeit the remaining three nights of our booking and move out instead. While the location may work for some travelers, be aware that there are several shelters in the surrounding area. Overall, the maintenance and condition of the apartment did not meet reasonable expectations.
