Checking in with my family went great but when we got to our room and started to close the curtain there was bedbugs crawling down the curtains I had to pack my family up at midnight after 3 1/2 hour drive to find another hotel

Hotel was okay. We stayed here one night while we were in St Louis. Location was good, it was close to a lot of things. I booked here initially because of the location, hot breakfast, and pool. Come to find out the pool was an outdoor one so that was my bad for not being more thorough in my research. The elevators were small, so it was hard to get four people plus a baby in a stroller onto one. We were up on the top floor. Walls are a little thin. Apparently while we were there a sports team was also there, also on the same floor. Probably highschool age boys. They were a little loud. Rooms were okay. The pillows were the size of couch throw pillows so that was odd, and the bathroom was a little small. Breakfast was good. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage patty, and make your own pancakes for the hot items.

The location is amazing literally minutes to everything you could possibly want this location has the potential to be a 5 star hotel if the get rid of their housekeepers and bring in an entirely new staff it was not clean from the elevators to the room, My first room had some red stuff in the sink as well as on the table that was visible before they walked out.The second room was full of dust on the vents as well as lamps and the bathroom door was dirty it just honestly needs a deep cleaning and would truly be amazing if it were cleaned properly.

The pillows were like square throw pillows. The shower was cold and pressure was less than a garden hose. I think I’d actually prefer a garden hose shower now that I think of it. Maybe just cause we were on the 6th floor. Breakfast looked mediocre but I passed. Desk guy was nice but we had to wait on him to get there.

The bathroom was very outdated and dirty. Stained tub. Hot water did not work at all - just sputtered air and dribbled cold water. Lobby looks nice but the rooms were not.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint was the bed was super comfortable. Everyone was super friendly.

Great Stay! Tommy and Rosa/Rose (sorry I can't remember her name) at the front desk were super helpful and so nice. Everyone in the hotel they we came in contact with was super nice. Great environment. I appreciate all the help that was provided.

Found toe nail clipping in bed. Next morning saw “pile” of them on floor. So….room definitely not vacuumed and sheets possibly not changed!

When we checked in, one of the male workers was complaining about his job to the lady who checked us in. I was standing at the counter while he went on a continuous rant about his pay being cut and hours. Very unprofessional. The rooms were not very clean. Floor needed vaccumed, bathroom floor had long black hair on it, shower drain cover was broken, shower was dirty and the water pressure in the shower was so bad that we could barely rinse off. Definitely not worth the money we paid. Won’t be staying here again.

The man working was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Just one problem, our room and the hallway had a strong odor of pot.

Building appeared older in the rooms but very nice. Was great having a bar and then a chilis on site. We stayed on our way back home on a 15 hr trip. After 10 hrs on the road it was great!

It was okay for the price. The bathroom floor still had hair on it. The water temperature in the shower was a challenge to regulate. There were only two bath towels in a room reserved for four people. None of these things were enough of an issue to warrant a contact to the hotel staff. We did not utilize any of the amenities and did not have the complimentary breakfast, so nothing to report on those. Check in staff was pleasant and friendly.

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel and it is great! The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the room is clean and nice. The bed is very comfortable.

We fled to this hotel after another one was filthy. This one was a dream! It was pleasant, comfortable, clean. It had a wonderful breakfast with bacon and eggs.

Great stay except the breakfast. Breakfast closes at 9:00 and when we arrived at 8:30, there was not much food remaining. In fact, the staff started removing the food.

The service is above and beyond especially Rose in the Breakfast room. I saw her time and time again go above and beyond in terms of service. She should be commended for her amazing attitude and sunny disposition. Only down is the water pressure in the shower. Was almost non existent at times and the hot water was barely hot. At times I had no water coming out of the shower head. I heard it was happening throughout the hotel. Something I think management needs to look into on busy holiday stays

This was such a nice surprise for a big chain hotel. This particular establishment has more amenities than most. And for a very good price. My daughter and I were super impressed w the comfort and cleanliness along with the night clerk, who was super friendly. Thanks. Will stay again when in the area

Everything at the hotel was good except for the fact the bed was broken both beds were caved in on the one side I had a very hard time trying to sleep because the bed was off I said something to the one lady she said that she put in request for a different room and then I never got a different room when it was time to leave I asked about a refund or some kind of percentage off my bill and she said I had to go through you guys to get it

The Lady that set up for breakfast on Monday morning was very rude. I was going to get some water and did not want me to get but one small cup of it, I guess she just did not want to go refill the container again with ice and water and just hovering over my family on what we touch or ate. We for sure will not be staying here again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Kirkwood Route 66 Inn. It's a nice, clean property with a friendly staff. A couple of quibbles. We checked in around 4 pm. Somewhere in the hotel. a dog was barking incessantly, as if the owner had left it in the room alone. This didn't stop until about 10 pm when, presumably, said owner returned. Being "pet friendly" should not include constant barking.

We had three rooms. One smelled like pot for three days. The other one had a terrible bed that you could feel the springs in the mattress, and the sink was either stained or really dirty. The staff was nice and helpful, convenient location and it was quiet!
