There was some mold in the bathroom on the ceiling. The ac struggled a little bit to cool off the room, but the humidity was very high.

I like the room, but some how staff made the mistake of giving me another person room. The lady must have gotten confuse. Confuse, because I waited in line and someone skipped. I got mad saying how rude of the person and the front desk for not attending me as I was next in line. So I sated about what happened and I guess to make it up, she gave me a great room.

The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was as comfortable as a hotel bed can be. I enjoyed the stay. I had issues with hot water for my morning shower, which I later found out was due to issues with the water pump. Also, the coffee pot was already full of water, which I thought was kind of gross. I went to Starbucks.

I loved the hotel, but unfortunately dusting in the rooms or wiping things down was not a priority. You could actually see where it was wiped and where it wasn’t, as the dust was thick. Not really what I want to see. The night table had sticky stuff on it and that was gross. It was quiet and I did appreciate that . The bed was comfy and room was nice and cold.

Second time staying here. The 1st time was in a newer part which was nice. This 2nd time they put me in a section that was not updated like the other bldg. It was old and didn't fill as enjoyable and nice like the 1st time.

We often stop here on our way from Laredo to our home in Terlingua. It breaks up the trip and the staff is so very friendly and they also treat Miss Gus Gus like a rock star. She loves the grass. One of the few places she can meander in grass without fear of stickers in her paws.

The front desk staff was super friendly, especially Jessica. She made us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet was so delicious. The omelet station was the bomb, and the menudo was the best I have had, and I've tasted many bowls of menudo. The rooms were clean.

I did not like the fact that none of the lamps worked in my room nor the TV. Only the mirror at sink and bathroom light worked. I found a plug hanging out the wall by the night stand. This hotel is going through some renovations right now and the contractors are cutting corners. The plug was not only hanging out the wall but texture was all over plug including the carbon dioxide detector that was plugged in that I doubt Works due to Condition it's in. I brought is up to the front desk about the problem no apology did not seem to care about it. The breakfast was not very good food just sitting out in warmers no one came up to me and offered anything to drink had to ask. Will not be staying here ever again. I have pictures of the plug hanging out the wall with texture on it. I will gladly send them to who ever would like to see.

Did not check in. Lobby renovation. Did not feel safe. Dog feces around pool area. We tried to cancel reservation before 6:00 but was told no. This hotel would not give any accommodations. Hotels.com did not address the concerns. This is definitely not a 3 star hotel.

They are under construction. Hallways not clean, hot tub out of commission. Our room was freshly remodeled. Phones weren't plugged in, alarm clock not plugged in, mud over-spray on the tub, seemed like a rush job. My wife stayed behind in the room for the day while I was away at meetings. She said construction hammering was non-stop all day long starting around 7am.

The walls are thin, and the hotel was quite noisy, from footsteps upstairs to people talking in a normal voice next door (but still quite audible in our room) to people banging on the door of the room next door at 3:00am. We got very little sleep.

Never ever ever stay at this property! Avoid at all costs!
Some of the lights in the room didn’t work. The lights in the bathroom only work if both are switched on.
When we requested extra pillows at the front desk we were told we should’ve brought our own because they don’t have any to spare.
Upon check in, we were told the heater for both the pool and the hot tub were broken.
The breakfast was surprisingly sparse. And the excessively thick waffle batter had a pungent odor. Time working in the food industry told us that it would be unhealthy to eat.
Overall a very unpleasant experience.

From booking our reservation to check out this place was great!… and it was mainly due to the staff! We came into town for a one of kind concert in Acuna. They provided first class checkin and a courtesy shuttle to the walking bridge. When coming back from the concert none of the taxis services were running (1am). LeBron at the front desk and Sandra in housekeeping were life savers and helped us get back to hotel by offering the same shuttle service to get us back safely and quickly to the hotel. We ended our night with the wonderful staff in Malinda, the two bartenders and bar back had the crowd going with some great drinks and fun karaoke! The hotel is being renovated and our room was nicely done. Super comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, amazing cold AC. The water pressure in the shower was top notch with nicely added touch of Paul Mitchell toiletries. We will for sure be back!!

Rooms either face the road or courtyard No inside rooms along a hallway like a traditional hotel. People walking outside your room talking and with carts/luggage at 7am woke me up. The outside is concrete which means you hear a lot of noise from the wheels. My room had a musty smell at first until I cranked the AC down. The room itself was nice and remodeled. Bed was comfortable and AC cooled the room. Shower was clean and water pressure was not the greatest, but enough to clean you.

Me room 129 had bed bugs and we were itching for days after we checked out. It used to be a great classy place but quality and higyne has dropped.
