The Glidden House was nostalgic and more quaint than large hotels. The breakfast was very good. A nice variety. So many things to see are in walking distance. The fantastic restaurants of Little Italy were very close. The location was perfect. Even if you’re there for a visit to Cleveland Clinic, this makes the trip better. Parking was so easy and less expensive. The staff was professional and kind. I will stay there again.

The Gliden House is a unique property in Cleveland. I wish we had more time there, but were only passing through. The staff were all helpful and kind. Great location near museums and restaurants, and an easy walk to the RTA train into downtown Cleveland.
We'll definitely return for more than one night!

I really enjoyed my stay. It was an easy walk to museums and restaurants. I arrived early and was able to keep my luggage at their complimentary luggage check. Breakfast was okay. Very friendly and helpful staff!

What a gem! This historic boutique hotel truly did not disappoint.
The staff were, by far, some of the friendliest and most personable we have encountered in all our travels. Alexis, who tended the hotel’s small, intimate bar, was professional, welcoming, and a pleasure to chat with. She knew so much about the history of the house.
James, the concierge, has been with the hotel for more than 20 years. His passion for the property was evident. He genuinely cares about his guests and goes above and beyond to ensure they have a wonderful experience.
Our room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The charming courtyard garden was such a lovely touch, and the morning breakfast was absolutely superb. Even the hotel souvenirs were thoughtfully chosen and clever. Rather than the typical items you might find at a hotel, these were things you would genuinely want to purchase and use.
I can only imagine how magical this historic boutique hotel must be during the Christmas season.
Thank you for a truly wonderful stay. We look forward to returning!
