The friendliest staff

Positive things first. Staff did the best they could with what they had. Run down property, miss managed, low staffing?
New towels and sheets. New paint. Negative... Mattress like a hammock, pillows lumpy. A sheet used for a comforter. Asked for a blanket received two with cigarette holes throughout. Exposed box spring with holes, rips and stains. Furniture with gauges taken out of the tops and pealing veneer. Chair upholstery was shredded to pieces with holes and exposed chunks of foam. Absolutely no Maid service for our 4 night stay. Requested light maid service each morning. Left the room at 0800 returned at 1800. No service. Asked for full service the last day. Explained we were out of toilet paper, tissue, soap, shampoo, all our towels were wet and smelling, garbage was over-flowing. They told me that they can get all the items to me now so I could go tidy the room. Told them no I would like your staff to help me with this so I can go enjoy my vacation. I was meeting a snowmobiling tour. They said certainly I will let them know. Left the room for 5 hours, it was never done.
Maid carts were always on the floor. Dirty linens pilled in the hallways. Doors open like they were being cleaned. Never once saw a service person working. Went to eat dinner at the restaurant and at 1900 the whole menu was sold out except for salad and chicken.Told the supply truck could not make the run that morning due to the snow. One day of bad roads and no food. I just do not get it.

This place needs a good thorough scrub and some TLC and investment. The sheets and towels were stained, beds do not have comforters - just thin knit blankets, the curtains are moth eaten and falling apart, mold on the shower curtain, carpet and bathroom floor had not been vacuumed (evidenced by crumbs and half a condom wrapper from the previous guests), hot tub steps are growing algae and the hot tub itself is crusty. The pool was not open on our last day and the pool deck had not been swept or cleaned from Friday thru Sunday night (a rogue snack showed that.) The outside of the hotel is gorgeous and the proximity can’t be beat, but overall don’t waste your money. This is overpriced considering the state of things and overall lack of cleanliness. If we hadn’t pre-paid (nonrefundable) we would have left.

The room was very run down and not clean. The mattresses did not have covers on them. There were dirty towels on the floor when we arrived.

Honestly, the hotel was horrific. The accommodations were nothing like the pictures portrayed and I was surprised that a hotel across the street from a major ski area would be in such a state of disrepair. I have lived in a neighboring ski town for almost 30 years and have never seen such horrible conditions, especially for almost $300 a night. The 1st room we were in had holes in the blankets on the beds, a view of the dumpster, stains on the walls and in the shower and a poorly patched hole in the wall. The lamps were all sideways and barely upright and the 1 chair in the room was completely shredded in the seat. After asking inquiring about what was going on the very nice woman at the front desk put us in another room. It seemed a bit cleaner and had at least a view of the ski area. In that room there was mold in the shower, not 1 trashcan in the room anywhere to through anything away and the heat lamp in the bathroom would not turn off. After being worried it might catch fire after a few hours when it sparked, and the plastic almost melted around it, I got up on the toilet and had to unscrew the bulb and almost burned my hand. Fun times for a ski trip with my son. The 1 chair in this room was also shredded and ripped. Ive never stayed in a worse room for a price like that. When we went to look at the pool- hot tubs which appeared really nice from the pics, the hot tubs were green. the pool looked great but we ended up not getting in. I think what was a sauna was padlocked

We arrived to find our room was not clean. There was hair in both beds and in the shower. The counters were not clean. The shower had black mold in the grout lines. However, once we notified the hotel, house cleaning came up quickly and cleaned the room properly. In addition, the onsite restaurant was out of all food items except 4, so limited options. The last day of our stay included the hot tubs being cold as well. Overall, our stay was ok, but likely wouldn't recommend.

Day 1: Upon entering our room, we were disappointed to find it reminiscent of another era, urgently needing upgrades. Adding to the dismay, we discovered leftover beer cans beside the fridge. After settling in, we headed to the 2nd floor restaurant, only to be informed that they had run out of food—a frustrating start to our stay. Later that evening, we had to unplug the mini-fridge due to a persistent buzzing noise.
Day 2: With no breakfast available on-site, we ventured out once more. Returning from a day of skiing in Winter Park, we looked forward to unwinding in the hot tubs, only to find them both ice cold. The explanation offered was that maintenance had forgotten to turn on the heaters. Disappointed, we decided to cut our stay short and checked out the following morning.
Unfortunately, the property failed to impress us, with the exception of the Front Desk staff, who remained professional despite the circumstances.

The hotel room was dirty. Holes in the carpet. Holes in the curtains. Holes in the blanket. 1 thin blanket on the bed. Sheets very wrinkled. Beds very soft and noisy. Dried blood and hair on bathroom floor. Bathroom tiles dirty grout. Dog barking incessantly next door.

We were surprised with how rough the room and community areas look. The room especially didn't have a fitted sheet or comforter, furniture was fairly beat up, and even the faucet was very loose. I will say the bar was nice but facilities were rough

Across the street from the resort. Convenient drive to the town. Old but well kept hotel. Reasonable price.

Room has water leaking and carpets were wet, toilet was clogged and fire place wasn't working. Hotel housekeeping was not existent and on couple of days breakfast was not served on time.

Great for the price. No complaint.

The hotel is good and close to all the attractions we planned for our vacation
Staff is excellent
MY only concern is that during our 3 day stay, they never clean the room, change the sheets or provided clean towels and bath soap.
Otherwise, I will stay again for the location it has.

Terrible check in. 5 people waiting for rooms to be cleaned at 4:30 pm. No toiletries. 2 towels and did not have more. Very run down. Put a person in an occupied room.

20 minutes to check in and I prepaid everything on the app. No one at the front desk. The bar service was awful. Waited 10 minutes and eventually left.

It was a perfect stay for my husband and I, celebrating a belated Valentine Day. We had a little stay cation ski trip at Winter Park from Denver. The staff was friendly and the room had a beautiful Mountain View

This hotel looks nice on the outside, but is rather dumpy in the inside. It is in serious need of remodeling. Our room had bathroom tiles missing, horrible pillows, touch-up paint that didn't match the existing color, poor drywall repairs and the list goes on. Its obvious the owner cares very little of the property.
4.0
We only had one towel and there was no shower curtain. Staff all seemed to be sad, grumpy, or overwhelmed. Little to no parking and beds/carpets were stained or in poor condition.

Booked a room for three nights and when we checked into the hotel and got to the room, it was unbelievably dirty. There was hair all over the bathroom and the toilet seat certainly wasn't cleaned. This place is run down! I forfeited the $664 for the three nights, left and went to a different Resort. Ended up spending over $900 for three nights, but it worth it! Dont stay at this run down, dirty hotel. You'll be sorry you did!

Room was disgusting, I requested a refund and you guys said no. Not okay.

Snowmobiling on the premises was the best surprise! Carpets need updating as well as chairs/curtains in the rooms.

Staff in this hotel is very nice. Other than that everything was disappointing.
First of all they say .5miles from Winter Park but that is how the crow flies not really how much you have to travel. There is a highway in between which means you have to take a detour of 1.5 -2 miles at least.
If you come by the Winter Express dont go for this hotel. The only connection is the green line lift shuttle which comes about every 40 mins and the bus stop is about 10 mins walk at leasst from the teain station and uncovered. We waited for 40 mins with luggage in the blizzard. No taxi or Uber aailable.
Food is surprisingly good , but they run out of a lot of things, like bread, coffee. My room $300 was not worth it at all.

The property is convenient to Winter Park Resort if all you want/need is a bed and shower. The pool/hot tubs need work and the floor around them was in need of a cleaning/fixing. The exercise room is very dirty. The Moffatt Station pub on site is ok for a drink but I would not order the food. The wings were rubbery, mozzarella cheese sticks overcooked and my waffle fries were cold. The staff were nice but it was very clear they were understaffed and when I raised this to the manager at the front desk all she could do was give me a card for the general manager.
Personally I would spend the extra $40 a night and stay across the highway in the village next time.

It’s technically on the resort but *not walkable at all to skiing. So still have to take a shuttle (that stops many other places, even when it’s so close). The staff was nice. But it’s old and run down and pretty gross. Old raggedy, stained carpets in the rooms, not comfortable beds or pillows at all, tiny dingy bathroom. Would only be worth it to stay if it was walkable to skiing/resort.

I enjoy the fact that they welcome pets. The young lady at the front was also very nice and helpful.

Reviews made a nervous, but glad we stayed here. Carpets and chairs definitely need replacing. But other it’s just a hotel that definitely needs some updating. Never say any issues of cleanliness. Would recommend to anyone looking to find a hotel on a budget in Winter Park

Toilet was COMPLETELY dirty when we got to our room.
Poor lightning inside the room.
No extra towels available, when I asked for 1 extra, she said “they’ve ran out”.
Bad smell overall hotel.

Badly in need of a scrubbing and a rennivation

It was easy to get to the ski mountain by taking the bus. The room had 2 different comforters other the 2 beds. We were on the top floor which was warm. Staff was nice. Beds were soft. The hotel is very outdated.
8.0
It was fine. It certainly wasn't luxurious, but it was clean and the location was great. You couldn't walk to the ski area, so you either had to wait for a bus or drive and park, but it was literally right across the street.
The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Parking was a bit tricky, and the facility is definitely dated, but for the price, it was a great value.
2.0
The property is really dated. A guy was stuck in the elevator for 5-10 minutes he had to call the front desk so they’d reset it. The room was meh. Our bathroom wasn’t bad except there was residual dirt build up in the corner by the bathtub probably from cleaning but not cleaning up where the dirt got pushed to. The location was across from the resort which is great. However, it’s across a busy main road, walking to the resort would be challenging so we just drove. The bar on location was pretty fun. But, if you’re looking for a bit more upgraded hotel, this isn’t it for the price. The town is just a few minutes down the street with more options as well as more nightlife. Now we know for next season.

Front desk stuff is nice and friendly. All-you can eat $14 per person breakfast is excellent. Nice views.

There wasn't a clear sign as to where to turn in. The front desk, restaurant, housekeeping folks were great! The rooms weren't that nice, maybe because dogs are everywhere. There wasn't a sheet over the boxspring and that appeared dirty. The front desk area ran out of coffee and hot chocolate. The lobby area could use a refreshed look and an update. Again, the folks working were wonderful, though!

I lost my ID and credit card a few hours before and they wouldn’t let us check in by all the emails with the itinerary. They would not let us get the same reservation with us paying again with a different card and my partners ID. We had to drive home that night and did not get to ski on Tuesday. I will never consider this hotel again. Especially since we were there last Monday and it was the same guy at the vounter
