Suite was comfortable, large and very clean. Ice was only available through bellman service. Not sure what additional facilities fee was for. All else very good. We’d stay there again.

We loved the Lombardy! The hotel was small, quiet, clean, and very convenient for walking to nearby places like 5th Ave & to subway. The staff were very friendly & greeted you by name everyday. There were tons of places to eat as well in walking distance.

Great location impecable hotel

I have stayed here before many years ago and loved it. This stay was a 180 from what I experienced in the past. Everything was under renovation and we were not told beforehand.

We had a huge suite with wonderful character. My family and I were very comfortable and would definitely consider this property for our next trip to NYC. Downside was no restaurant.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Lombardy hotel. After living in NYC for 13 years, it’s been difficult finding a comfortable spot to come back to stay when we visit with our two year old. This hotel solves that problem for all future stays! The rooms are spacious and well furnished, plenty of closet space and a kitchen suitable to have snacks between meals. The staff is very accommodating and kind. We will be back for sure!

It was good to be away from Times Square and the area was upmarket within walking distance of Moma and Central Park. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet. We had 2 x King Suites with small kitchenettes in tiny rooms off the suite’s entrance corridor with no crockery or cutlery so if no use. Our suites looked nothing like those in the photos of the hotel facilities. The coffee shop on the ground floor was closed and there was very little communal space at reception. There were few options for breakfast- the Palace diner on E57th was authentic. We had a terrific time in NYC but used the hotel only for sleeping.

Love the Lombardy!! Best location! Needs new pillows. Otherwise very satisfied!!

Bathroom was very dated. Cracks in the ceiling. Shower area was rusted.

All I will say is the Location worked for me to get to my event ! Room size was pleasant !

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the city. Ease of access to Manhattan, the park grand central, Radio Center, and other top NYC necessities.

Not great. The place has no amenities and is very dated. The staff was okay. It is old and dark and not very welcoming. They do not have valet parking as promised and I had to go to 3 different garages before I could find one that allowed overnight parking. Disappointing!

Place was ok but it didn’t have any on-site restaurant or drink options, couldn’t even get a cup of coffee anywhere in the hotel. Room was spacious but was very dark. Shower drain was stopped up and water ran out all over the floor. Ok place but I would not stay there again

Hotel rooms are private residence's the rooms they show you on their website are not the rooms you get. They take a credit card for incidentals but they offer nothing you have to go out for everything there isn’t even a coffee maker in the room! The beds are hard as a rock the stay way very disappointing!

We stayed at this hotel last year, booking a studio room and had the most amazing stay and beautiful room and so we booked to stay again this year. We paid extra again for a studio room which is described as having a separate seating area, to arrive to a room with a bed and 1 chair in. Reception informed us that expedia had the wrong description on their website and actually only 3 out of 15 rooms had a separate seating area and it seems that those 3 rooms are the ones shown on the photos as our room was nothing like the description or the photos. The hotel was full so we couldn't move rooms. We could have saved hundreds of pounds by just booking a standard room which is exactly what this room offered. Since returning I have complained about this to expedia who raised this with the Lombardy who came back admitting the description was wrong and is possibly for another of their hotels but will not offer any compensation. This is so disappointing, especially after such a great stay last time. Just be careful what room you have booked and what you are expecting to receive!

Overall the a wonderful stay. The mattresses were a little hard for me.

Just….. don’t drive an SUV or a truck, their parking lot will refuse you.

The staff were amazing. The location for the property was spot on. This is a quite part of 56th street but still very close to transportation, and shops. Walking distance for a lot of places. The room was very clean and comfortable.

All Staff members from doormen , front desk ( Walter) to house keeping very nice and helpful!! Would definitely come back !!

Loved the place

The rooms were very large and well maintained. The property was older, but well kept. I wish there were more amenities (like drink/snack machines, etc.) and more than 2 elevators, but neither issue was a big deal as it's NYC, so there was a convenient store 1 block away.

Very well located an convenient. Would recomend it definitely. Only point to improves is that the buttler was very rude with customers...

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and very friendly staff. Only wish it had a restaurant/bar in the hotel. It was my second visit and I would definitely stay there again.
