Ok as motel 6 goes. Great staff but building itself is old and dingy.

Room was very musty-wet smelling, very dated and carpet was dirty like it hasnt been vacuumed. Sink had dirt in it. Caulking around tub was falling apart and looked to have black mold on it. But what more can you expect for $100 night. Other people in group their room was very similar except their carpet was wet. I recommend spend extra momey stay somewhere else.

The hotel was old and dirty and smelly. The outside has no curb appeal. The parking lot was dirty. They need to have a designated area for dogs to poop and they also need to set aside rooms just for animals to stay if not they need to disinfect the rooms because of the age of the hotel and being near the gulf the rooms smelled like animals and funk. I would have went to another hotel but because of our long drive and being tired we stayed. Very disappointed

The staff was very welcoming and great! However, the rooms were average and need to begin having repairs and upgrades. It’s the perfect place for a one night stay or quick trip.

It was peaceful and everything was just a walk away, we really didn't have to use our truck at all, it is pet friendly and amazing customer service

The hotel was not what it showed on the website. As far as Galveston goes it was awesome.

The front desk Staff was friendly/accomodating. Major Problem area: Cleanliness! I recommend if you come to Galveston that you look at the room where you want to stay before you book it, because once you book you probably won't get a refund if you change your mind. I got there but failed to look at the room prior to booking. First, the room was dirty and had a terrible odor. The bedspreads looked like they hadn't been washed in weeks. I lifted the bedspread to check the sheets and ...whoa!! The top sheet had a huge spot resembling bodily fluid. "Check please." I can't believe housekeeping would put that sheet on the bed. That should have been caught upon collection and disposed of, not washed. That begs the question about the quality of the Staff. I took the sheet to the office. All I could think about was "COVID." I didn't feel comfortable with touching any surface in the room, let alone sleeping there, so I checked into another hotel. I admit I stayed there when it was "Beachcomber Inn" and it was much better but now it was like night and day. Maybe it was that particular room (138) but it left a negative impression for the hotel overall. For your health and safety, Do not stay in room 138! My suggestion: clean the carpet, walls and doors, and replace the broken lamp. Remember, look before you book. If you're military related check out afvclub.com. And now, the automated hotel response...

Everything was ok until it was time to get into the bed, the blanket had someone’s hair tangled on it. Slow water drain in tub.
