The carpet mat which is under both beds was not laid out flat. There was a bubble, causing me the trip couple times.

The property has been updated. We had to attend a funeral and this location was very close to the funeral home and Church. The breakfast was a great plus!

The room, TV, and breakfast were very good. But the phone did not let me either arrange a wake up call or speak with the front desk. And the shower doors should be frosted, in case someone unexpectedly enters the bathroom.

Convenient location, easy check-in, cool decor, comfortable bed & pillows, very clean! Fridge, micro and coffee in room. Everything we needed, reasonable price. Shopping &dining nearby. Could use a few more towels (only 2 bath towels)

I loved this hotel. Price was great, location was great, staff was great, and room was great.. compared to similarly-priced hotels in the area, that is a great choice. will stay there every month when I visit my company's facility in Tinton Falls.

Nicer than I was expecting. The room was spacious. The quick interactions I had with the staff were pleasant. Check-in was very quick. The room had a small sitting area (facing the parking lot) via a sliding door. The furniture is contemporary. The mattress was harder than I like and the platform/box spring would squeak getting in or out or sitting on the bed. Loudly. The remote for the TV didn’t work. The toilet tank was not properly connected to the bowl and would move when flushing. Didn’t use the following: food services, shower, refrigerator, microwave, body towels, dresser, armorie. The lobby was decorated nicely but the halls and rug are dated.

This was a terrible choice. We were in NJ for a funeral and we chose the HUB Middletown based on photos and recent reviews but the experience was awful. We were in the first room off the front desk right next to private entrance. This private entrance says key required but it was never locked which made me feel very unsafe. The room was directly below a very loud party that went on most of the night up and down the stairs as well as in and out this unlocked door. There were numerous people arguing very loudly in the parking lot just outside of our room. There were numerous bugs in the room and the bed was covered in plastic under the bedding. When we checked out after the first night no one even asked why we were leaving a day early. We will never stay there again!!! Staff was rude and unprofessional. We were advised we are not eligible for a refund no matter the circumstances as we chose to stay 1 out of 2nights. We are from NC and now after my aunt’s funeral we were seeking a new place to stay. Very stressful and upsetting!

The only bad thing about my stay was that the pool was closed. I stayed from September 1st to the 4th (Labor day) Usually pools are closed the day after labor day. ☹️ The pool looked absolutely beautiful so it was so hard to see it and not be able to enjoy it. I do plan on returning next summer I'll just make sure the pool is open before booking my stay.

It's was quiet and clean. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was better than we imagined it could be. Iron and ironing board, refrigerator and microwave were all great to have. The only bad thing was that the shower was very touchy when adjusting the temp. That's not so bad.

The front desk was a mess. The people working there did not know what they were doing. I was charged multiple times for multiple rooms. All got settled but it was chaos, not to mention the night desk person does not speak english and my son-in-law had to use google translate to check in. Also the outdoor pool looked amazing but it was closed...and it was 90*.

The room was very spacious, with comfortable beds and linens. Modern decor. A decent complimentary breakfast spread. I also liked that the room had a terrace, ours faced the pool, although sadly the pool was closed, which wasn't highlighted during the booking process. More attention to detail regarding dusting and cleaning could be paid. Nothing major, but I noticed a few dusty corners, ceiling dust, or cobwebs. The remote was sticky. If those details are corrected, this location could be a gem.

I am beyond disappointed with the fact the pool was not up and running. There was nothing leading to the fact it was closed. Nothing on the website. I got the room specifically there so my daughter could enjoy the pool and have a memorable experience. The staff seemed line they could care less. For the price of the room it was not worth it without the pool. Very disappointed. I would like some kind of refund or a comp stay to another location.

I’d have given it 5 stars but I never had housekeeping for the three nights I was there. I mentioned it upon check out but no answer or apology was given. The property’s grounds were pretty and very well maintained. The pool area was nice but closed for some reason. It’s close to wherever you’d like to go in the area.

The offer pool service and the pool were close all summer. They asked me to write the manager and two days after She never get back to me. When we wake up the first night the room was full of ants. The cleaning lady told me that they send the exterminator to our room. Second night i wake up with ants in my bed. Horrible and worse experience in my life/.

Staying for family wedding. Temps were over 90 and there was no notice to the block that they had their pool shut down by the health department. When we checked in we waited over 30 minutes for an attendant to show up. There was mold in the bathroom. Despite saying we had 4 people in our room we were given only 3 towels.

We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and being hot sleepers, our rooms are usually not quite as cold as we like them. This room was COLD. We loved it and slept like babies. Clean, comfortable and perfectly sized rooms with friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel the last 3 years- very convenient location, decent price, clean, and a lovely outdoor pool- which we love to use. This past trip the pool was closed- the person at check-in apologized but said "that info is on the website". I checked- no mention of the closure. In fact on the hotel website they state "enjoy the pool". Shouldn't i receive a discount?

The reason I chose that hotel was because it had a pool and then found out when we got there that the pool was closed…even though it looked perfectly fine and filled with water. The staff didn’t tell me either, I read it on a sign. There should be some compensation for my stay since it was advertised as operational but was not.

Place was clean, and modern (except half pillows on bed, not a full pillow?!)...breakfast was hot and omelettes and waffles were so good. my only thing is lack of any personality of the check in woman. i realize she is probably a little shy or quiet , but she didnt even greet myself with a ..welcome, or how can i help you...any questions? not even just a touch of small talk....this is hospitality after all. thinking maybe just a bad day, i let it go ...but checkout was the same with her...not a thanks for staying with us, how was your stay...not even a have a nice day! not writing this to be nasty toward her or hotel, just a heads up to maybe manager to make the staff aware how important it can be. and im in hospitality so i know people can be exhausting, but you have to try. just my opinion.

Hotel was lovely. Check in and out was easy. We wish the pool had been working. Breakfast was very nice and coffee available throughout the day in the lobby is great. We plan to return again in August. Highly recommend this property.
