Feels very family oriented. It is connected to the ocean and pretty to the town center. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but they do provide complimentary valet parking.

Didn’t look that special pulling up but I would stay there again over other super fancy hotels. Great location. Great staff. Definitely more oriented to families. Has cornhole, giant connect four, a nice outdoor pool and a walk up to the beach. Not a good beach for snorkeling. The west side of Kauai has rough waters. But an easy drive up to hanalei or poipu. Would 10/10 recommend.

Right on the beach. Did use the bikes to do a ride on the bike path. Water bottles in the room with fill stations downstairs with very cold water. Decent happy hour at Lava Lava Beach Club.
