This is a great little boutique hotel rested from converted apartments. My room was actually a one bedroom apartment with a small kitchen, living room, dining nook and large desk. The hotel staff are absolutely top notch; they greet you like you're coming home everyday. There is a nice little Boutique restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner (Italian; hours are listed as open until 10:00 but the kitchen closes at 9:00). The rooms themselves have had a significant update and are very comfortable but still retain some old world charm.

Hotel staff was excellent and very helpful. Room was nice and comfortable, but the bathroom, while clean, is dated and has terrible water pressure in the shower. Great location and very charming.

The Hotel staff requested a physical credit card upon checkin , they don't accept digital wallet cards , but couldn't show me a written rule or policy explaining the rule. Failed communication.

We love the River Inn! Front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, a good size, and it's nice to have the kitchenette. Bed was comfy. Some street noise but it's DC! Had a lovely dinner in the Italian restaurant in the lobby. Conveniently located a short walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro Station...no need for a car. Highly recommend!

Very convenient location to visit DC colleges and monuments. Nice neighborhood, attentive personnel. Good stay. Everything very clean. The property is been updated, the layout design is traditional. Not fancy but impeccable clean.

The River Inn is now my go-to stay in DC. Immaculately clean, welcoming staff, dedicated communications, comfortable room and great price - what wasn't to like? The kitchenette is especially handy for casual meals and made the morning so much easier.

Everyone was super friendly and kind. The room was extremely comfortable and especially quiet. The kitchenette was pretty great especially since grocery stores were nearby. Overall a great stay.

Location is just great. The staff is very friendly. The rroms are very nig and well equipped. The only bad thing is that parking is limited on the streets and valet is too expensive.

Great little place in Georgetown. Very well situated, staff engaging and helpful without being intrusive. We stayed in a King suite with river view, essentially a small DC apartment with full kitchen, separate bedroom, and glorious view--all for a truly exceptional weekend rate. Work in DC frequently and will definitely use this spot again!

It was nice and spacious. My family enjoyed it, although we didn’t use the kitchenette, it would be of good use if we stayed longer than 2 nights. Also, parking on the street was nice too instead of paying 55$ a night.

Hotel is in a very good location near a Metro station in a quiet neighborhood. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the kitchenette is an excellent option when you’re traveling with family.

I was able to find street parking both days of my stay nearby, but YMMV. The rooms were very nice and spacious, having a full size fridge and stove were appreciated. I did however experience having something someone else was cooking, have it's odor enter my kitchen. The shower head had poor pressure and finicky temperature controls.

Nice hotel in a good neighbourhood. Always felt safe. There is a little restaurant at the hotel with good food where you could have breakfast and lunch for reasonable prices. Metro was not so far and had a good connection to al the tourist sights. Really enjoyed my time in Washington DC. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location was great.The rooms were very clean. It was just a 5 minute walk to the Kennedy Center. We walked after dark at about 7 pm and felt completely safe. 7-11 and restaurants very close by. The only disappointment was that parking was $55 per night which I didn't realize ahead of time.

Our room had a full kitchen and a Trader Joe’s 2 blocks away and ir was a 5 minute walk to the metro. Staff was friendly and professional. We would stay there again

Big rooms, central location, friendly staff - not so much a hotelfeeling as a Homestay, as guests came with dogs, food and lot of stuff to stay as in an apartment. Great if you are a large group or family, I guess
