Great stay in a surprisingly beautiful hotel in the heart of Baltimore.

This is a beautiful hotel in downtown Baltimore. My teenage daughters and I arrived late. It didn't feel like an area where we could just walk and grab a bite. We tried to eat at the restaurant, but it was not a kid or teenager friendly menu. The hotel and the hotel room are stunning, beautifully decorated and clean. This is a lovely boutique hotel. Parking was pricey, but directly across the street from the hotel so very easy. I would recommend this hotel. Just order out if you have kids

Front desk was extraordinary, then to the room- not laid out well, coffee table was wobbly IKEA type furniture, just felt cheap throughout, then the bar- way understaffed- took forever to even be acknowledged. Sadly would not recommend.

Enjoyed the area for it was walkable to any location. Last time we stayed near the harbor and it was not a very nice area. This hotel was clean, the food at the restaurant was really good, and the service all around was also very good.

I loved walking around the neighborhood in the snow!

TLDR: We have stayed in over 20 hotels in Downtown Baltimore and this is by far the worst one. I strongly urge you to consider staying elsewhere. The only redeemable thing about this property is the kind bartender, Scott, who treated us with kindness and respect. The rest of the hotel staff should strongly consider a job outside of customer service.
We stayed at Hotel Indigo from December 25-28. On the second night, we found dry blood stains on our pillowcase and immediately took it down to the front desk. The gentleman advised my fiance to have me call down to speak with the manager as the reservation was under my name. Upon calling, the manager, CHRISTY, answered the phone and spoke with me in a very rude tone, informing me that we had to come down and speak with her in person (despite my fiance being instructed otherwise a few minutes earlier).. Once at the front desk, Christy coldly asked "y'all packed y'all stuff up?".. We received no greeting or apology from her or the gentleman sitting beside her whom the situation was initially brought to. After some back and forth, we agreed to be moved to another room and asked Christy to put us in contact with her leadership, whom we never heard from.
Weeks later, we are still blown away by the lack of professionalism and tact from these individuals.
I almost didn't write this review as it's been a while since the trouble, however I feel I'd be doing all prospective guests a disservice by not sharing our terrible experience.

It was a nice experience. Everyone from the front desk to the person sharing about the history of the Indigo building was warm. The location is conveniently located with restaurants near by. The parking on for overnight Sunday was only 14 dollars.

Stayed here for a friend’s wedding. Vintage and elegant vibe of place. The staff was very friendly at the lobby.
We loved the food and great service at the restaurant next to the lobby. Much so, that we ate every meal there besides at the wedding reception. A lot of areas are walkable as well ranging from shops, restaurants and museums.

Stay was great. Good location for our needs. Staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was inexpensive and easy. Only complaint I had was the temperature in the hotel was HOT. I turned the temp down in our room but it remained very hot anyway. Otherwise, very good

My mother and I had such a memorable stay at Hotel Indigo! From the moment we checked in until we left, we felt comfortable and accommodated. The staff were all so friendly and resourceful. We will be staying again!

The place was beautiful and in a good location. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The lady that checked us in made an insulting remark about my Arkansas accent (I don't believe she meant to be insulting, but I took it that way). ALL of the bellhops were wonderful! The bed is super firm, which some people prefer, but my wife and I were tossing and turning all night. My bath towel had holes and a wad of hair on it and our coffee pot had mold in the water reservoir. I went downstairs and told the front desk about the mold and they still made me pay for a cup of coffee and said they'd send a new pot upstairs. An hour later, I called downstairs because they still hadn't brought it and they said someone would be right up with it. Another hour later they still hadn't shown up and we had to leave for the day. They brought another pot while we were out, but it didn't use the k cups that were in the room, so still no coffee Saturday morning. The staff on Saturday were much more on top of things - when we asked, they immediately fixed the coffee pot issue and brought a microwave. Overall, the price and location were good, but I would not stay there again because of the hard mattress and disparity between staff on different days.

Wonderful ambience! The lobby and restaurant area is cozy and charming! All staff were very friendly and attentive. My corner room on the 8th floor was beyond spacious with great city views!

The hotel is lovely and the food service was very good.
One snafu was at check in I asked if the restaurant was open and told that it was. I stood at the entrance for maybe 5 minutes, looking for someone to seat me. Finally, I was told that the restaurant was not yet open. Just a frustration after a long, tiring day. Room service was good.
I would not stay here again, ONLY because the location did not feel safe. At night, there were folks sleeping on the sidewalk of the parking garage.

We had a great stay at Hotel Indigo! From the moment we arrived the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the restaurant/bar area. The food and drinks were on point. If you are in the area looking for a nice place to stay, then book here.

In Baltimore for a concert weekend - Fri Bob Dylan (Meyerhoff Symphony Hall) Sat Joe Bonamassa (The Lyric Location is very convenient to downtown Baltimore venues; theatres, restaurants, Amtrak train station all within an easy walk or cheap Lyft or Uber. Staff is incredible - very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Onsite Poet Restaurant food is excellent and moderately priced. I have booked a future stay for a Dec. Best staff for a hotel. The door men were great and very friendly. Front desk people was awesome. Wait staff was great but you do need more of them as the work load was not staffed right.

This hotel has a nice vibe, and all the basics and nice soap/shampoo, etc. The location is good, the staff was very helpful, I might stay there again. But there were little things that kept it from being exceptional. One of the lamps in my room had a loose on/off switch. The bathroom had no towel hooks. The chairs in the lobby looked cool and funky, but they weren't particularly comfy or cozy. And the breakfast was seviceable, but not memorable.
