Air conditioning was not functioning properly and we were told that entire Milan was instructed about power usage reduction.

One night stay travelling through. Reasonable hotel, a bit far out of where we wanted to be but pricing probably reflected that. Bed was really comfortable, pillow not so much. No balcony. A couple of bottles of free water.
The pool pictures look a 7/10 but in reality that area is more like a 3. Sat there for about 5 mins. Great pizza over the road
6.0
Very close to metro only 2 euros to come to centrale milan
8.0
Great staff, room was good for what we needed, clean and tidy.
Electrics tripped, called reception fixed within minutes.
We didn't eat or drink so couldnt pass comment. Locally great places to get coffee and bakery items and a short walk to metro and tram lines.
6.0
Decent property. Needs some upkeep especially around the exterior. Rooms are decent but could use some upgrades. Gym needs a bit of work. Good for a short visit. Walkable from mass transit.
4.0
Limited transport to and from the city centre. Hotel was very noisy, at one point there was massive bangs and what sounded like gunshots outside. Turns out it was fireworks, but they were so loud it was unbelievable. Would not recommend and would not stay again; if we return to Milan we will be staying in Duomo or Zara

The staff members were great however we end up Checking out a day earlier as the hotel room was not clean, found things in the room which shouldn’t be seen at all.
4.0
Easy access to metro. On same metro line as San Siro stadium.
3.0
facility in the room is not perfect, safe not working although we moved to other room!!, fans not working on toilet, water on fridge are filled with tap water, room keys are made from cardboard and not working perfectly so have to go to reception to activate it. ... Breakfast are very good
5.0
Best Hotel, very close to the public transport. Courteous staff members. 10/10
5.0
Friendly staff, close to the metro station, but rooms need to be renovated
4.0
The staff where generally helpful. The cafe staff were particularly good and are the primary reason that I am not giving 2 or 3 stars. Room floor was very wet for almost 24 hours after arrival. The shower floor edge had a bunch of mold that would have been easily cleaned with some bleach. The outside courtyard with a fountain had broken glass all over and is not safe for children.
2.0
Staff polite and helpful.
Hotel needs revamp, very dated, certainly not a 4 star hotel.
3.0
Although the staff were helpful, but the rooms were not very clean. I found a big spider on the wall beside my bed.
4.0
The Personal were very friendly and easy to communicate with.
What we didn’t like:
- Rooms to small
- Bathroom did have old and broken sanitary installations. (Room 414)
- not enough socket outlets
- should be renovated
- Breakfast to expensive ( 10€ should be enough per person)

Breakfast, and the bottle of water everything day

Even if it's consideration of summer season
there were lots of mosquito in Hotel.
Also speed of Internet too slow and desk for working is
also uncomfortable as well

Nice hotel close to metro and tram.
2.0
Amazing customer service. Water, coffee, tea and refrigerator inkluded in the price. Beds were good, but did not like the long, short pillows, did not give the best comfort to the head. Breakfast was also fine, but during the last day, many things were missing such as strawberry jam, strawberry yougurt and orange juice.
There were both handsoap, lotion, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner with of a fine quality in our room.
Water, coffee, tea and cups were refilled each day.
Was somehow disappointed that the pool already closed at 19, as we did not have a chance to enjoy it, because we were out during the day sightseeing.
The restaurant first opened at 19, which also was disappointing, as we usually eat no later than 18 in our country
The room was not so cleaned as we hoped - dust and some spots, but it was okay.
All in all a fine hotel

Good value and location for getting into Milan on the Metro, area directly by the hotel not so nice and not much going on. Hotel rooms are nice and comfy so overall a good stay

Old property

Booked two rooms at this hotel for myself and four young kids specifically for the pool which is showcased in all the photos. When we arrived in last week of may we were told the pool was seasonable and would not be open until June. We have some very disappointed kids and ruined the break away. We were mis-sold.
2.0
The hotel is a little tired on the guest room level and could do with some freshening up. The air conditioning needs to be upgraded as it didn’t really provide effective cooling.
Unfortunately the pool doesn’t open until June, so that wasn’t an option to have a cooling swim.
Food was good overall, with a very enjoyable breakfast spread.

Good hotel but small room
5.0
The property location was okay, due to the metro station being a 10-minute walk. Would not advise anyone to book this hotel if you want to be in the centre city. Overall cleanliness is fantastic and staff were friendly. Didn't spend much time in the hotel to understand the hospitality but for a short stay it was perfect. Would stay again if visiting milan in the future.

Restaurant staff was not all welcoming or accommodating for large group with kids
2.0
The Hotel was ok for the purpose of the study. it is close to the metro station with easy access. Room was comfortable however it was warm and no air-condition at this time of the year. Opening the window was enough. Breakfast was disappointing which I did not expect to see in Italy. it is classically British style breakfast which is over priced (15 euro daily) and i do not recommend the breakfast
3.0
The location was excelent, close to 3 metro stations. The rooms were cleaned well. We didn't take breakfast but there are many cafes and supermarkets around. In general it was comfortable stay

The front desk staff was wonderful. The breakfast buffet is definitely worth getting!!

It is a good hotel

The housekeeping was poor, the bedding was not clean nor was the toilet. The room was not cleaned or beds made for 3 days. Aircon ineffective at best. Coffee stains on wall under window, carpets + curtains gruppy. Two tea bags, two coffees, no milk..... does not merit 4 stars

It was the worst ever Novotel hotel i have ever stayed in Either Europe/USA/India/Asia Pacific.
The receptionist said that the AC was not working because the General Manager closed it & went home. The breakfast
was so horrible that they also could not serve on omlette. The rooms were smelly. Overall people should avoid at all cost . They charged Euros 239 per night which is criminal for such pathetic services
4.0
it was ok- good value for money but the hotel is not so clean and one lift was out of order and was not repaird and probaly will not and the hotel works with one elevator.
if you want a cheap hotel novotel is good enough we
were 4 people in the room and it was ok for 5 days
2.0
Hotel nice, rooms ok. Pool is FREEZING. Middle of august and it was ICE COLD! Not pleasant!! Reception staff very helpful but evening bar man was rude and also didn’t know how to make cocktails, plus one elevator was out so we were told to use service elevator, only for a housekeeping woman to get in and SHOUT at us! Very rude. We made a formal complaint about her. Metro is close and takes 30 mins to get to Duomo (main square).

The breakfast was excellent, but location too far from center. Rooms were very small and dated

Nice hotel, pool and breakfast was good. Lunch and dinner menus were limited.
Good staff.

This was good value when booked and I suppose for a base it was acceptable but it is cheap and basic. Air con did not cool the room and we were there in 38 degree heat. The surrounding area leaves a lot to be desired and barely anything open for food snack & drinks. Nothing of an evening to do locally. Everything in the local area was shut down and looked derelict with graffiti everywhere (this is common in Italy) Rooms extremely basic and gym poor. Swimming pool small and very basic. The hotel looked more like a cheap Motel. I would only rate at 2.5 stars to be honest. The staff were friendly in the main and the breakfast was excellent value for money and the the quality was good. We did not eat of an evening in the hotel so can not comment. To get into the centre of Milan cost approx 15 to 20 euros each way depending on the taxi. We noticed when the hotel called for a taxi the driver obviously charged from their initial destination as each taxi had different values on the clock when they arrived. Only worth staying here if you like basic accommodation. The property could do with a lot of TLC.

It was a good hotel however, the are not many restaurants around the hotel so you’ll have to go to the duomo. Also, the pool open at 10 and closes really early at 7pm which is a shame. There were ants in our room every day. Also, they had an ironing room but the iron was not working and they didn’t show us how to use it. The breakfast is really good and delicious. The beds were comfy. The shower was annoying because the water kept dripping out of it.
3.0
The reception staff are amazing
The pool is clean and good enough
The food is too poor, no vegetables (Only tomatoes :D ),
The juice is soo sweet (a lot of sugar)
The coffee Machine should be thrown into the trash right now, totally broken, and when it works it produces a really bad coffee (in Italy :( )
overall I've stayed in multiple Novotel hotels in Europe, and they were really better than this branch
still like Novotel, and I recommend it
thanks
